Flinders station 駅から徒歩圏内、collins Street の北側にあり、遊び、食事、買物、観光に便利。週末でうるさいかもとレセプションが耳栓をくれましたが、気になる程の騒音もなく眠れました。部屋は狭めですが、清潔でヘアドライヤー、冷蔵庫、湯沸かしポット、食器、トースターまであり、Wifi無料、チェックアウト後の荷物預けも可能、但しレセプションは24時間ではないので注意してください。

私はここについて称賛しているレビューに対して、心底困惑しています。これは同じホテルでしょうか?参加する会議で推奨されていた場所だったので、Metro Apartments on Bank Placeに滞在しました。Collinsの向こう側のNew Yorkにあり、立地は素晴らしかったのですが、ホテル事態は古臭くボロボロでした。整頓されており適度に清潔でしたが、ひびの入った薄板や状態の悪いドア、安っぽい仕上がりに、全体の印象が少し損なわれていました。浴室は未だに恐ろしいスライディングドア(私のペットが嫌がります!)でしたが、部屋はメルボルンの中心地にしては広かったです。同じ街区には、スーパーマーケットやセブンイレブン、たくさんのパブやカフェがありましたが、簡易台所は便利だったと思います。 もし私が調理をしたかったとしても、まるで装飾目的の為だけであるかのように(写真参照)、全ての調理器具が高い棚に置かれていて、手が届かず、調理をする事は無理でした。私が本当に腹立たしく思ったのは、予算が気になるビジネス旅行客にとって本当に魅力的である、無料ワイヤレスをウェブ上で広告していたのにもかかわらず、ホテルに到着してみると、部屋でのインターネットアクセスの為の、通常の法外なホテル料金の広告がいくつも置いてあったのです(写真参照)。それに加え、携帯のつながらないスポットもあり、このアパートメント内における、仕事の能率が本当に限られてしまいました。とても苛立たしかったです。 その後の2泊はここに泊まるのを諦め、通りを25mあがったところにあるオークス・オン・コリンズに移りました - もっと清潔で、ちょっと安く、さらにジムやプール、レストランがついていました。さらに携帯電話の受付もありました。

We are dismayed to hear of your dissatisfaction with our property and we wish we had been given the opportunity to address your concerns while you were with us at the hotel. While we appreciate your assertion that the rooms were neat and clean, as we do our best to ensure that they stay that way, we are also aware that there are some aspects of our interiors which are a little worn and dated. We are currently in the process of renovating the interiors of the apartments in the building, and we do hope that you will return and give us the chance to show you the finished product; hopefully we will be able to make a better second impression for you. Our wireless internet is indeed 100% free to all our guests. This is a recent policy which is only two or so months old and charges had previously applied for internet access at the hotel; it seems that your stay occurred within the first weeks of our free wireless internet and you had come across an older flyer that unfortunately had not been removed from the room. Log-in details for our free wireless network are available from reception, which is staffed 24 hours for your convenience. The Optus mobile network does appear to have a black spot that affects rooms on the first 3 or so floors of our building; unfortunately we have no control over this issue but we had we known of your problem we could have arranged a room move to a higher floor for you. This is not an issue in our location for any other mobile phone carriers. We urge any guests who have issues with their rooms or amenities, here or at any other hotel, to contact the staff on duty. We are here to help and are most often able to resolve any issue, and we appreciate the opportunity to do so before you leave us with a less than fantastic impression of our property. We hope you will return and give us a second chance to impress you and clear up your confusion as to “all the glowing reviews” you have read on our TripAdvisor profile.
