From the moment we met, Simon’s passion for local cuisine and culture was evident, and he led us to hidden gems we would have never found on our own. Each stop was a delightful discovery—delicious food paired with the perfect drinks, all reflecting the heart of the area’s culinary traditions. We had a blast on this food and drink tour!! Simon was so friendly, easy to converse with, and informative. We went to three izakayas and tried so many delicious (sometimes weird) foods and (lots) of drinks. At the first stop we got to help make the dishes at the table which was fun. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great time and experience Simon! Kanpai!

Simon showed us such a great time! We wanted a dining/drinking experience that would be authentic and give us a great taste of Tokyo and he delivered! I loved each of his choices from family style restaurant, bar and sake house, places we never would have found on our own! He also did a wonderful job of selecting the food and drinks to give us a variety of tastes that we might not have ordered on our own! He was entertaining, and knowledgeable about Tokyo culture. I would highly recommend this tour!

I couldn’t recommend Simon highly enough!! He was a wonderful host. Extremely knowledgeable, very easy company and terrific fun! We ate delicious food and went to a local hip area that we would not have otherwise discovered. An absolute blast!

It was a pleasure to have Simon literally walk us through the less-traveled back alleys of Tokyo to experience some of his favorite small izakayas. We were introduced to a wide selection of Japanese food and drink, while enjoying great conversation. Tokyo is a wonderful giant city, but Simon provided a uniquely local experience unlike any of our other touristy tours.

We had an amazing experience on this tour with Simon. We had a group of 6 and the whole group loved the experience. The variety of fantastic food and drink in restaurants that we wouldn't have found ourselves that we got to try was excellent. Simon was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Our tour with Simon was incredible. We got to see parts of Tokyo I am certain we would not have found without him. We tried local foods and drinks and had wonderful conversation. We learned so much and had a blast and are so glad we did the tour early in our Tokyo trip so we could use recommendations from Simon after the tour!

This tour is the best! Simon was our guide and he made the experience so easy, fun and informative!! It was like getting a good friend to show you around the area! The food and restaurants are places we would have never found or tried by ourselves. The staff at the restaurants echoed the friendly local vibes as they greeted him and us like we’ve been friends for awhile. Is definitely worth every penny and will take his tour again next time we return to Japan. A must do!
