岡山後楽園の能舞台で狂言を見ました！途中、小雨もありましたが、それも風情があり良かったです。内容も詳しい解説付きでとても分かりやすく、素晴らしい時間を過ごしました。演目が変わるそうなので、また見に来たいと思います。

初めて狂言を見ました。最初に狂言の歴史などを説明して頂けたので、初めてでも楽しめました。また普段は入れない鶴鳴館。後楽園にこんな場所があったとは。岡山県民ですが知りませんでした。

ネットでやまき運輸のツアーに参加。3700円でした。 乗務員さんがほぼずっと説明してくれているので 全く飽きません。ぜひ一度行った方がよろしいと思います。

We had mediocre expectations and were blown away. Not only is the food good, but the experience was delightful, entertaining, informative and fun for all ages. What a great way to spend the afternoon

This was such a fun experience! The meal was delicious and the Q&A session with the retired sumo wrestlers was very informative. The real treat was watching the challenge. They were such good sports and everyone had a great time.

An amazing experience. Aya who I was liaising with in regards to our booking was so accomodating, including noting we had a flight to get to, he was able to give me accurate timings and allowed us to wrestle the Sumos first.
We came here after going to Planet Team Lab and that worked perfectly. We did Team Lab at 10am and then starting making our way to this Sumo experience around midday. The No 10 bus took us about 100m away from the Sumo experience and we arrive in time for our 12:50pm arrival. Overall our 3 kids gave this day a 100/10.
The ex professional Sumos gave an excellent demonstration and we were vey close to them. I LOVED the lunch. Katsu, rice, potato salad, coleslaw and some Sumo veggie tofu chicken soup which was delicious!!!!!! You could have as much as you wanted of the rice and the soup and drinks were an additional charge.
After the demonstration everyone could wrestle with a Sumo, they were very very considerate with allowing you to get video and photographs.
The Sumos were very theatrical too and definitely know how to put on a show. My kids who are 13, 11 and 8 all LOVED LOVED it and I would highly recommend this to others.
The show concluded around 2:30pm/3pm. There was no rush and everyone was allowed to have their turn with the Sumos, which was very very enjoyable to watch as everyone in the audience had their own strategy with the Sumos. One fellow we watched from America had muscles like a muscle builder and it was clear he had wrestled professionally. I was a bit worried for the Sumo....but he handled it well and defeated him. They were super super cute with the little kids too.

Fun activities to wrestle with a sumo warrior. Great restaurant to experience Japanese culture. Tokatsu served was not bad as well.

I was initially worried it was going to be a typical “touristy” type of performance but it fully exceeded my expectations. Not only was it informative but it was really neat to learn about the two retired wrestlers who were doing the demonstration, both of whom had had successful careers starting from a young age prior to retirement due to injuries. It was fun for all ages, the food was plentiful and tasty. My family especially enjoyed the fun opportunity to “wrestle” the sumos but also particularly enjoyed the question and answer period where the audience was able to ask the sumo about their personal careers. We also had the treat of a current sumo wrestler star stopping by for a visit with the owners and agreeing to be introduced to the group. I appreciated that the group was kept to a smaller size to allow for full participation by anyone who wanted to.

This is a wonderful experience! We attended the lunch event in Asakusa, and there were 48 people in attendance. It did not seem like that many at all. The hosts ran a seamless event, and there were so many smiling faces from everywhere!
It started with a demonstration with 2 retired Sumo wrestlers, and an education on the history of Sumo/rules etc. Anyone who would like is able to wrestle after and everyone gets to enjoy pictures. All hosts and the wrestlers were super kind, ran an efficient event, and created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The bento lunch and Chanko meal after was enjoyed even by my 12 year-old. There was a super informative Q&A during the meal. Who knew that Sumo wrestlers could eat 300 pieces of sushi in a given meal, while training?! If you have a few hours, this is an experience that is a total find for all ages!

Wonderful food at reasonable prices. Beautiful presentation as to all the wonderful dishes served whether it be the suishi, hibachi dinners or my personal favorite the Beef Negimaki. The hibacchi dinner is truly a fun and lively show with your dinner. The drinks are also flavorful and unique.

BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING -Ensure everyone checks their bookings correctly and firmly.
A week before an incorrect date that was booked (a month before we were even there) notified us WITHOUT A DATE of instructions of our tour. 24hrs before this wrong date I rang to advise them it was the wrong date booked and wanted no part in resolving the issue. Wasn't asking for a refund just to have the correct date booked. They advised Trip advisor they sent me an email a week before to advise me. This email had NO DATE on it otherwise I would have fixed up and amended. Has put a dark cloud over Our first trip to Japan considering my son is a representative martial artist. Would have loved to show him the traditional sumo.

We accidently went to where the wrestlers live ... their stables but the restaurant for the performance was on the other side of the main road - a lovely couple went out of their way to take us there. make sure you get the location correct.

Hello, Is there a discounted fee for people who are unable to participate in challenging the sumo wrestler? For example, for pregnant and senior citizens who are unable to do this activity. I will, however, have two other people who will participate. Thank you

I'm certain there would be no discount as this is an optional activity. Lots of people chose not to do it. The main part is the demonstration and the challenge is just a bit of fun & a good photo opportunity. You'll still get to have a photo taken with them. A pregnant lady could even put the costume on just for the photo. I'm sure they'd be ok with that.
