We had a fantastic time with Aron on the bike ride. He’s very knowledgeable, took us on a great route, stopped at the best viewing spots and took us up to a shrine with an introduction to the importance of all shrines in Japan. He ensured we went at a pace that suited us all which was really appreciated (we were five adults). The bikes were in great condition and we’d definitely recommend this tour. One of the highlights of our trip to Japan!

We had a great time on our bike tour with Aaron! Originally, we signed up to bike down Mt Fuji, but because of safety concerns, we were prompted to switch to the Lake Kawaguchiko tour. This was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Japan! It was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy more of Japan's nature scenes and beauty. The bike route was easy and accessible. We enjoyed learning more about Japan and its culture from Aaron. Would highly recommend booking a tour with him on your visit to Japan!!

We did a 3 day easy bike tour was flexible and great with communication. Although the first day was rained out, Aaron took us to the handicrafts village and offered a short bike ride in the afternoon. My husband was also a little under the weather so Aaron still managed to arrange short easy rides for us including a longer ride around Lake Kawaguchi. I would have preferred the 3rd day to have more riding but we still saw some magical places anyway eg. Joren Falls and the wasabi plantations. Thanks to Aaron and Carlo (for the knife recs as well!)

This is an experience of a lifetime— such an amazing day with Aaron at the helm. There’s no way a first time visitor would be able to locate some of these spots on their own. We saw many fantastic lookout points while getting in some great exercise.

We are a family of five with three big boys who are in Japan for the first time. We had a lovely afternoon with Aaron as our cycling guide. His bikes were in perfect condition, all communication both before and during the trip was quick and clear. He had carefully planned the trip so that everyone could be with in-patient pistops and snacks. He spoke vividly about Japanese traditions and nature, and all five of us were in great company.

We visited Japan for 2 weeks, travelling from city to city, but the bike tour with Aaron was one of the highlights of our trip! Not only was he highly knowledgeable about the area and its history, but he thought about everything (from hand warmers to snacks!). Aaron was able to adjust the tour to our abilities and preferences, and provided us with lots of ideas for more unique activities to do during our trip away from the typical busier tourist magnets. We loved spending the day with him - thank you so much again Aaron!

This was an absolute highlight of a two-week trip to Japan. We got lucky with a clear day in November for awesome Fuji views and brilliant foliage. Aaron was a true expert leading us zooming past the selfie-stick 'hot spots' to show us spectacular views slightly off the beaten path. Even lunch was great as we listened to Aaron's stories from multi-decade 'expat-ship' in Japan.
10/10 would book again.

I'm thrilled to hear the bike tour was a highlight of your two weeks in Japan! The autumn foliage was spectacular on the day of your tour, and it was so fun getting out in the countryside with the four of you to see the red and yellow maples framing our views of Mt Fuji on the shores of the more remote lakes. Our chats during lunch and our sightseeing stops were all the more interesting thanks to the thoughtful questions and curiosity about Japan you brought with you. I would love to bike with you folks again and show you around some of the other magnificent parts of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Be in touch when you're planning your next trip!

Aaron and Carlo were an incredible team. Cycling around Kawaguchi and taking in all the sites was truly magical. We had to practice patience with Mt.Fuji but we were certainly rewarded. Aaron knew so much about the area + the Shinto shrines. We had the best time and are grateful for the experience. We’ll surely be hiring his services again. ありがとうございます！

Thank you for taking the Lake Kawaguchiko Bike Tour with me! Knowing you have a special interest in Shinto and Buddhism, it was fun sharing a couple of the more colorful Shinto myths with you on our stop at the shrine.
It was such a pleasure to chat and bike with you while enjoying the Mt Fuji and lakeside views. I'm thrilled to hear you had a magical time and intend to return to the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park for another tour with me on your next trip to Japan. Looking forward to seeing you two again!

Wonderful to hear you enjoyed the tour!
Thank you for pointing out the quality of our fleet of bikes. One of our priorities is to provide our guests with well-maintained bikes that are far superior to base models so you can ride more easily and safely and enjoy your tour more.
Our guests often say our bikes are much lighter and perform better than what they ride at home, and they hope to buy the same models after their trip to Japan. So glad the bikes worked out for you too!

I’m not sure what else to say other than this bike tour was amazing. The weather was beautiful and we lucked out with such a clear view of Fujisan. After spending the days prior walking miles and miles around the insanely busy streets of Tokyo, this was exactly what my group needed to decompress our mind and bodies.
Aaron, our guide, was highly communicative and helpful before I had even booked a tour. During, he was great to talk to and very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. His passion for being outside is evident in how he conducts his tours and something that resonated with us.
Also, the website is beautifully done and easy to navigate. It provided a very accurate and thorough itinerary for what we ended up seeing and where we ended up stopping.
Thank you so much Aaron! We haven’t shut up about what a fantastic time this was. Whenever we come back, you’ll hear from us!

Great to hear my website and the details I provided about how to make the trip to Mt Fuji on public transportation made things go smoothly for you.
It was such a pleasure to bike with you out to quiet country roads where we could enjoy the views and commune with nature without the crowds. I’m so glad this was what you needed. As you astutely observed, it feeds my soul too.
One of the things I find most fulfilling about my work as a tour guide is the opportunities it creates to connect with wonderful people like the three of you and to share stories and ideas. Your company made it a fantastic day for me as well.

How long exactly is the whole tour? Under "What to expect", it says Duration: 3 hours. But under "Important information", it says Duration: 2 hours.

Hi! The tour takes 3 hours with an average group, but a group that rides fast and takes few photo stops could complete it in as little as 2 hours.
