Unfortunately, we went while it snowed so we didn’t get to see Mt. Fugi (cloudy). Had a little scare driving up the mountain as the roads were covered with ice and snow so we got stuck. My husband had to assist the driver by getting out of the car and give the car a push to get out of the snow. Also instructing the driver how to break the ice on the road with the steering wheel to gain traction. Our driver told us it was his first experience to drive in the heavy snow, so that wasn’t exactly very comforting to hear. My only recommendation for the company is to use a proper car, such as an SUV with 4WD or AWD, or have tire chains handy to prevent getting stuck and be able to drive in such conditions. We were riding in a minivan that was spacious and comfortable. And maybe keep track of the weather conditions to communicate with the customer(s) for postponement, etc. Because of the unfortunate weather, I was only able to see 2 out of the 5 sites I really wanted to see. Other than that, our driver was very nice and knowledgeable about the sites we wanted to see. Also got us back to our hotel safely.

We understand that the weather conditions were not ideal during your tour, and we regret that you were unable to see Mt. Fuji as expected. However, we want to highlight that, as a gesture of goodwill, we provided you with a second attempt at the tour—completely free of charge—despite the fact that our cancellation policy does not require us to do so. In most cases, once a tour has started, rescheduling is not an option, but we made an exception to ensure you had the best possible experience.
Regarding the vehicle, you specifically selected the van option, which is priced accordingly. Other types of vehicles, such as 4WD/AWD SUVs, have different pricing structures, and automatically upgrading customers would not be fair to others who book different options. Additionally, our team monitors weather conditions, but as you can understand, mountain weather can change unexpectedly, and we do our best to operate tours safely under varying conditions.
For future bookings, please note that our standard cancellation policy allows changes or cancellations up to 24 hours in advance. We always recommend checking the weather forecast ahead of time, as we cannot control natural conditions.
We are happy to hear that you found our driver knowledgeable and that you returned safely. We hope to welcome you on another tour in the future under better weather conditions!

Great day seeing the area around Fuji-san. We were blessed with beautiful weather, perhaps one week shy of cherry blossom opening here. Guide “Mike” was very friendly and helpful in managing our time.

We had a great time with Tim. We were able to reach almost all the spots we wanted and the best of this experience is that you are the one setting the times in each spot. It was flexible enough to allow us cancel crowded spots and visit another alternate ones that were amazing.
Understand this is not a tour but a multilingual driving service where you set the route for the tour. And even if Tim was nice enough and we had some nice facts from him, this is not a fully guided tour. But it's still totally worthy.

We took a customizable private tour to Mt. Fuji with a private driver.
Today's trip to the Mt. Fuji with Tim was amazing from the time we were picked up from the hotel.
Our guide/driver, Tim is an exceptionally professional driver with the excellent knowledge of the area and perfect English and Russian.
Only because of him, we managed to get picture of the Mt. Fuji in a cloudy day. Tim drove us around all five lakes, we saw ancient villages, famous sacret shrines where samurais pray before the battles. As culmination of our trip was a park where Tim took us to see waterfalls. This park was not crowded, maybe, not too many people have a knowledge about it! What a beautiful, peaceful view! It was worth extra 45 min of driving to that place.
I am highly recommend this 10 hours private tour and hopefully you will be lucky to see it all with Tim.

Alim was so gracious and personable and he took great care of us. He was very attentive to the places we wanted to go to. I would recommend him as your driver to take you on tours or anywhere you want to see. Excellent service. Request Alim when booking your tour.

We planned a wonderful trip to see the sights around Mt Fuji that the rainy and cloudy weather somewhat dampened. Despite not seeing the icy peak, Mike our tour guide did his best to accommodate us. We had a good time seeing the village, shrines and caves in the mountains. Thanks!

The views would have been breathtaking, I’m certain! We chose the day with the most clouds, of course, but Mike transformed it into an extraordinary adventure. We are incredibly grateful for his tour of the Mt. Fuji area.

I recently took a tour to Mt. Fuji with our guide, Mike, and it was a great experience! Mike was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip both informative and enjoyable. He shared interesting facts about the area, ensured everyone was comfortable, and kept the tour well-organized. The views were breathtaking, and having an experienced guide like Mike made the journey even better. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Mt. Fuji!

We would like to book a one way tour of Mt Fuji starting from Fujisan Onsen Hotel Kaneyamaen (where we are staying) and ending at Haneda airport. We are 4 people plus luggage. Date is April 21 leaving the hotel at approximately 12:00pm and arriving at Haneda around 9:30pm as our international flight leaves at 11:50pm
