So of course our walking tour of the Tokyo Tsukiji Fish market started at....a temple! (Tsukiji Hongan-je Temple) Initially this made no sense, but Andres explained that before we can enjoy the sights and the food, we should pay respects and honor the the future things that we will encounter and enjoy. Now it made sense. From there it was off to the market where Andres seemingly new everyone and every great location to see. We had VIP passes to the best sushi and beef, no line waiting for us. Straight to the front. Completely fluent, he was able to introduce us to his favorite locations and people, giving us insight into the culture. We sampled everything we could. Got some snacks for home and filled our trip with great memories of the market. If you can pick a guide, I'd pick Andres Burgos again.

Andres was brilliant! He took time to get to know us and then tailored the walking trip around the markets to suit. Stopping at the very best stalls and operators.
His knowledge of the area and its history was the best. We enjoyed the Buddhist Temple and its history. My family had the best time and the food was amazing! Highly recommend!

Tsukiji fish market is the place you can see pretty much the whole of Japanese food culture. I had a good time and now I wanna try more and more food here!

The tour guide Doren, was perfection. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we were taken care of. The food was very tasty and a nice variety.

Yota did an amazing job walking with us through the Tsukiji fish market and sharing interesting insights. He had a great knowledge of the market. Well worth it! I would highly recommend this company and ask for Yota!

Lovely food and fun conversation with our guide Yota. He introduced not only the market and its food but also areas of Tokyo. I had the best sushi and I highly recommend to make a reservation with Yota.

The market was huge so it was a good idea to join the tour! So many good and unique food and stuff were very much like something I could feel i was at Japanese market. So good experience.

Not to be missed! I did this on no sleep after just arriving in Tokyo. Truly a great first day experience! Our guide Yota was amazing! Super personable, kind, and accommodating.

Tsukiji has a vibrant, chaotic, and at times overwhelming atmosphere with its busy market lanes, noisy vendors, and throngs of customers. That said, it's part of the charm.
