Such a fun night and experience with Erik! We went to some great local spots that we would never have found on our own. We had delicious okonomiyaki, yakitori, takoyaki, and drinks. Erik knew what to order to take the stress out of trying new things and shared so many interesting facts about Osaka and the area. We had another couple on the tour that we enjoyed hanging with so much we went out for drinks after the tour was over! Would highly recommend this experience to anyone who’s looking to try some new things and learn about Osaka during their stay!

So glad I did this tour! Rodney was amazing. He was insightful and knew how to mix some good facts in with a good time. I would have never made it to some of these amazing, small local bars (one sat 3 people!) The food he ordered for us was delicious too (he was even able to communicate dietary restrictions.) Not usually a tour person, but this was the one to book. Ten out of ten - would recommend!

Rodney gave a great tour and showed us some spots we would have never went into on our own. He bridged the language barrier, explained the history of Osaka, and showed us some fantastic was to experience the night life. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Would highly recommend Rodney is very knowledgeable about the area and took our small group to some great places. This is a fun night out I would strongly recommend as a must do. The food was different but absolutely delicious we even tried raw chicken and the saki was lovely too

Such an amazing tour. Danyk was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming. The out of the way bars where special and somthing you never find with out prior knowledge.
The food was amazing at the first restrunt with a little taste of everything osaka.
We would highly recommend this tour !!

I booked the Osaka Backstreet Night Tour with Danyk for myself and two friends, and we had an amazing time! We started with Okonomiyaki and drinks, continued to a handful of very fun and charming bars, and had lively and educational conversation throughout.
Over a couple of hours, I had a great time zigzagging around the area, but by the end I also felt a deep appreciation for the local culture and made some treasured memories. I’d love to come back again sometime and do it again!

This night will end up being one of the highlights of my trip. All of the spots off the beaten track are wonderful, sure, but what really made the night were the people and the locals I ended up meeting. Danyk is an absolute legend, and I will remember this night for a long time.

All round fun night, good banter and delicious food and drink. Loved the history classes and local knowledge 10/10. Especially the hidden bars that as tourists your not going to find 👌
