Poppy gave and given an authentic insight into Thai cuisine. We enjoyed it a lot! The food was great and the instructions very well prepared.

Really perfect evening. Great food, great athmosphere. Poppy was outstanding, from personality and also from the knowledge of the Thai cuisine. Even my partner who is not addicted to cooking like me had a great time and perfect meals. We were just 3 persons over all, but everybody could choose their own dishes nevertheless. Atmosphere was like with friends, really enjoyable. Also perfect size of the 6 meals, so you can enjoy every meals and your belly is perfect filled at the end. Recommend it 10/10 and would definitely do it again without any doubts.

We had a wonderful time thanks to the teacher New. She is very thoughtful and shared many details of the life in Thailand, how to choose the spices and vegetables in the local market, how to grow them in a garden and guided us step by step through a delicious 4 courses menu. I highly recommend to book a class with her.

Niw gave us a super great afternoon. With a lot of humor she guided us professionally through the course. We chose the variant with a visit to a local market, which turned out to be a great insight. The cooked meals were super delicious.

Interesting and fun! Super nice guide who drove us to the market and told us about the Thai ingredients. She was educational, friendly and funny.
Fun to try cooking and the food was good. Everyone in the family thought it was one of the highlights of the stay.

Booking this course was a great decision, it was such a wonderful experience! I highly recommend and would definitely do it again. New was amazing, vivacious and knowledgeable. After the pick up from the hotel we headed to the market and the lesson started. She educated us on many of the fruits, herbs and veg, had us try a few treats before heading to the school itself. After selecting our various preferred dishes, we got straight to it . There were a few other lovely ladies there who helped to clean up whilst we cooked. I still cannot believe I made panang curry paste from stratch! This was certainly one of the highlights of my holiday in Thailand.

This was a great course, New was a fantastic teacher, very friendly, and taught us much more than expected. The visit to the market was great and new took us around explaining all the different fruit, veg, herbs, sauces and plenty of other things.
Back at the school we learnt so many recipes.
I would highly recommend this cooking school and New as the teacher

Crew and food was amazing. Our teacher was funny, kind, informative, and went above and beyond. She even helped us with further recommendations for Krabi and drove us to our next stop. She was just great, and the food was amazing. I can’t recommend them enough!

It was a great experience with Chef New. She is very patient in explaining the ingredients during our Market Tour, and she is a good teacher in explaining the steps from preparation to cooking. You will definitely pick up some skills as she will make you do it yourself but patiently guiding you along. She is also an amazing photographer! She took some great photos during the session.
As this is non AC environment, try to wear long pants to avoid getting bitten by mosquitoes.
I would recommend booking direct with Authentic Thai Cooking School.
It was a bad experience booking through Viator, who was unresponsive, and contact details given on the confirmation page was incorrect.
