I had a terrible experience with Aires Water Sports in Cabo, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid this place at all costs. They scammed us out of $500 with a completely bogus jetski damage claim.
After our ride, they accused us of damaging the jetski, which was a total lie. They then refused to return our credit card and license until we paid the $500. We went back later in the day and noticed that the same "damaged" jetski was being used by another customer without any repairs. Despite this obvious proof of their scam, they still refused to refund our money.
Aires Water Sports should not be allowed to operate. Their fraudulent practices and refusal to return our property were unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and find a reputable company instead. This place is a total scam.

We booked the jet skis online so didn’t have to deal with any haggling. Fidel was lovely and very accommodating as I had my elderly parents with us celebrating their 50th anniversary. The photos they took for us with the drone were great ( though a pricey extra expense)! Would double check jet skis for damage before going out.

Do NOT rent jet skis from this company! It's not safe! They don't do properly maintenance of their jet skis. The seat flew off while our son was on the jet ski. They didn't care about the safety of our son, and ended up charging us $400 to replace the seat! Torunn H

Rented from Aries while on beach and it was a disaster. First we agreed to a price, then they tried to charge more when we arrived on location. Secondly, one of our participants ran out of fuel and was swept a few miles out due to current and was rescued by a fishing boat. Lastly, they refused to give back our credit card and tried to intimidate us by brining in "muscle" but we have division 1 wrestlers with us so there was no intimidation happening. We ending up leaving our CC with them and just canceled and disputed any additional charges as we paid cash. Dont rent from these hacks on the beach, go through your hotel. Chalk this one up to experience.

These guys are awesome, very helpful. Easily book when you are in Cabo with no issues. They went above and beyond for my daughter and myself! Visiting again in August will definitely be using them again

Aries was easy to find on the beach, check-in and orientation was speedy. Their greeter spoke very good English. Their machines were new and in good repair. And then we hit the waves....Weeee!!

We were waiting for our parasaling time with Aries, and I decided to rent jet ski's. The gentleman in the tent asked me how much they were going to charge me further down the beach . I told him the price, and he called me a LIAR. ( turns out it was THERE company that told me the price) He said that I should go down and rent them.. Then they tried to say it's a language mis understanding . So I went to the competition ( INFINITY)They were more than happy to rent 3 jetskis... Then when we returned back to the tent , the gentleman still was complaining that I went to the competition. And just kept insulting me. I WAS a repeat customer. Please save money , and have good customer service. Use INFINITY

My apologies for this miscommunication and misunderstanding. There are Promoters on the beach that sell activities for all of the companies. They are not employees of Aries Water Sports. A Promoter's job is to do their best to get the business. The Promoter's prices may be different than Aries Water Sports' prices.

We were asked to arrive 30 minutes early, and we did, but they didn't even start on our paperwork until at least 20 minutes after our start time, and it was even later by the time we were able to ride the jet skis. We had arranged for a water taxi to pick us up, based on when we were supposed to finish, so we had to call and change that appointment. We also had a shuttle to catch back to our hotel and were pushing our timing. My jet ski ran low on gas, so I had to take it back 15 minutes early, only to be traded one that wouldn't go more than 5 miles per hour, so I ended up just giving up about 10 minutes before our finish time. Very frustrating. The jet skis were fun while they lasted, but the lack of professionalism was disappointing, and I don't plan to use them again.

We had an amazing experience! We booked online and they had our information when we walked up to the tent. Marco was very kind and helpful, and Dani made sure we were safe and knew the rules. We had the jet skis for an hour and loved every second! We saw several sea turtles and the guides were out there to help us!

The staff at Aries water sports are scammers. Went Jet Skiing with may family and they tried to claim I damaged a jet ski (which I didn’t) they said in the beginning if the jet skis are damaged they would charge my card $300. After talking to the manager he said everything was fine. 30 mins later after my cousin finished his session the manger went to my cousin and said that I damaged the jet ski and that they can charge his credit $300 or pay 200 cash. I go over again to dispute the claim and the manger lies and said I admitted to damaging the jet ski. After going back and forth with them for 45 minutes we said ok charge our card, but they refused to charge it and was demanding cash, we spent another 30 minutes arguing and refused to give them cash, so they just gave up, and said ok we’ll let it slide this time.they didn’t charge the card because 1. I did not damage the jet ski. 2. If they charged my card the money would go to the company and not to them to pocket. Less than an hour later while I was swimming, I noticed them trying the same scam with another group, with the same exact jet ski they said I damaged (jet ski number 3). When I went on the reviews after the fact I saw a couple complaints about the same damage on the same jet ski the oldest dating back to 6 months ago. They are scammers do not give them any cash.
