It was very good and very funny. Despite the cold weather and starting to rain on Thursday evening, we were kept very occupied and kind wasn’t on the cold as it was very entertaining and very interesting. Some very interesting facts thrown in and when was happily answering random question about York where he can.

Would do this tour again! A few tours on but our tour was the busiest but he gave attention to everyone and kept everyone involved

Great guide with some great stories on a cold January evening. Well worth doing. My wife and I enjoyed the experience.

Great entertainment
An entertaining hour and a half tour through the streets of York. Would definitely recommend. Very good value for money.

Super spooky but light hearted time
Fun and light hearted way to spend an hour and a half around the alleyways and back streets of York.
Spooky tales superbly told by our guide who gave a professional narration.
Been to York so many times and this was the first time I did this with the Family. Wrap up warm and enjoy!

Spooky spookyness!

Dante Deathly was our tour guide for the evening and he certainly did not disappoint! A wonderful and captivating speaker, Dante walked and talked us through some of the darkest tales from the city of York and left us hanging on his every word, only for us to then Google the stories on our return as we wanted to find out more!

Chilled by Ghost Tales and led into The Shambles

It was a fantastic little tour around the spooky and mysterious parts of York with a very enthusiastic and entertaining tour guide Danny Dante (might be spelt wrong) who told a number of gruesome ghost stories which provided a few scares and laughs.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves walking, listening to spooky stories and being scared.

Be sure to wrap up in winter, very cold!!

Daria Deathly was superb. A good 90 minute tour and walk, stopping regularly so easy going for the less mobile (although I would contact in advance to check mobility needs). The effort and love of the job is evident and this is to the benefit of the tourist.

An excellent way to spend an evening!
Well the little pixie who came to do our tour was extremely engaging and for such a small little thing she could certainly entertain and make the history of York come alive! And by gosh she could walk fast!

D’aria Deathly was thé youngest of the Deathly family and warned us about her three rules!
if you are going on this tour FOLLOW THE RULES!
To our despair one of the rules should have been broken by a couple of the crowd who felt the need to talk throughout and not shut the hell up which, in my opinion, rule one should have been an exception for - I would have even done the paperwork for D’aria !

Now the tour is seeing wonderful parts of York you may not find yourself in as an everyday tourist and some parts of the history could be lost if it wasn’t for these tours reminding us about it.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a clear love of York and it’s history and I’m not giving any of the secrets away- you need to go on this tour and embrace the journey through time D’aria Deathly or one of the other deathly family members take you on.
Highly recommended.

Entertaining tour

Dante was great. It was a cold night but he was very entertaining and took to parts of York we had completely missed. Good fun.
