    No audio guide, no chance to hop on

    The route along the coast is nice, but you won't enjoy the part through the streets of the city. The train jerked when starting after stopping and screeched incredibly when braking. Audio guide is missing. We also did not have the option to interrupt the tripp, although we paid for it. We have been instructed that we cannot use the next two trains as they are full.

    Very disappointed we canme out of the bus station , ran across the road , where the train was standing . He was about to pull out , saw us , but gestured that he was not stopping, and the next one was in two hours time . The train was only half full . He could have easily accommodated us . Very , very unsociable person . He should be reported .

    No commentary on board so we didn't know what we were looking at. Notice stated it wasn't working that day but apparently it hasn't worked in months. Don't waste your money on this.

    Really not worth the money. No audio available. And the driver can't even be bothered to call out stop numbers or names. No map provided and very very little to see generally. A waste of 18 euros.

    Says they have headphones for English but they don't. Says it is a hop on and off but it is not. Would not do again. Grab a bus

    A fun way to tour the city.

    This is a small-town version of those hop on hop off bus tours. it takes you for a spin around the city, taking about an hour. I have seen a lot of the negative reviews and I'm not sure what the various people expected. It's a fun, inexpensive, deliberately "kitchy" thing to do. We were there in the off-season, and there were a couple of re-routes necessary because of construction but it was a good way to get familiar with the town. It is not ultra-slick--it's more a fun thing to do. Kids would certainly love it.

    I'm embarrassed to admit I did this

    When my wife and I arrived at our appointed "train," we were informed that the audio narration would be unavailable due to technical problems. Foolishly, we did not immediately request a refund (and the operator did not offer us either a refund or the opportunity to reschedule). Instead, we rode silently around Tarragona for 45 minutes and were no wiser when we stepped off than when we stepped on.

    There are so many excellent online tourism resources for Tarragona that it's hard to imagine just what I might have learned if the audio HAD been working that I didn't already know. The only reason I'm not rating this 1-star is that it gave us the opportunity to catch a little rest after hours of walking and exploring the city.

    I would advise skipping this.

    Go on your way…. And walk, it will be better
    We usually take these little bucolic trains when we are in a city that we are discovering. But then I fell backwards!! He was supposed to arrive at 12:07 p.m., but at 12:05 p.m. the train passed the stop without stopping. The next one scheduled 30 minutes later arrived 45 minutes later. He stopped because we signaled to him, otherwise he went straight on. The driver refused to let us go on the pretext that it was full. We pushed hard and found space very easily. Then it was “grand prix” mode. No stop at the planned places, no earpiece to discover what we were seeing (no big deal…. at the speed we were going eh…), then finally, the long-awaited stop….. at its departure base, in above the amphitheater.

    We have never experienced this. A shame. Don't try... Unless you're a masochist!
