We spent an incredible day visiting Mt. Etna and exploring the area. We then were treated to a wonderful lunch with a vineyard tour and wine tasting. Our knowledgeable guide, Vittorio, was an absolute pleasure as he knew all of the best places to go to for views. He grew up in the area and hikes Etna frequently. Everyone in the area knows him and they all went out of their way for us. It was truly a special day. I highly recommend this excursion.

Wow, Alex sure knows his volcanoes. He is informative, friendly and very kind. Our icy/snow hike on Mt. Etna was possible due to his vigilance in making sure we could navigate the trail. His information about Mt. Etna and volcanoes in general is extensive.
The wine tasting is excellent. The grapes grown on Etna have a lot of mineral content, a favorite of mine. The food pairings are tasty and fresh. The grape growing, production and wine information is very interesting. This is a professional wine tasting that is very well done.
The entire tour was about 7 hours, from pick up to drop off. I’m sure that varies depending on how long the hike takes. This tour is certainly worth the cost. It went way beyond what we expected.

We absolutely loved this trip! Our tour guide really knew his stuff, he drove us around in a comfortable minibus, and took us to interesting locations that fully explored the natural history of Etna. Afterwards we went to the Vineyards and wine cellars of Gambino wines.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I can honestly say was mind-boggling!

Lovely sympatico young tour guide took us for a hike up part of the mountain, he then took us to a lava cave before a wonderful lunch and wine tasting at Gambino wines🤩

We had a wonderful time on our Etna tour with wine tasting. Andrea, our guide, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole experience seamless.
The tour offered breathtaking views of Mount Etna, with plenty of interesting insights about the volcano and the surrounding area. The wine tasting was a highlight, featuring excellent wines and delicious local food in a beautiful setting.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and one we would highly recommend. Thank you, Andrea, for making it so special!

Brilliant tour guide as very knowledgeable.
Very over priced for what it is. A long windy road and long journey so if you get travel sick not good!
By the time we got to eat it was about 1.45pm which was very late and we were starving. Take snacks just in case!
We thought we would have been shown more of the winery but just taken to shop and lunch which was very nice with the wine but would have enjoyed a tour round.

We learned a lot about Mt. Etna Volcano compared to other volcanos. Walked around craters and in a lava cave. Very safe and not too strenuous for us, we are in our late 60’s. They gave us hiking poles and provided hiking boots for those who did not have proper footwear. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Had a nice lunch with wine tasting at Gambino winery. Highly recommend!!
