Four of us went to on a tour with Marco from Alba. He took us to three auththentic wineries in the Barolo and Barbaresco region. We met the actual winemakers, and were able to tour their wine cellars and have tastings. He also took us into his vinyard, and we were able to receive a true understanding of what it is to work the land here. He has a way of keeping things funny, while getting to the point of the matter on what challenges there are, and the wine making process. The wine at all three of them was very good, and his wine from Cascina Galarin was excellent. It was an enjoyable day filled with entertaining stories and wonderful wine.

Marco is passionate about his region and work. He was an excellent host and we enjoyed our day together tasting wines, touring Piedmont wine country, learning about winemaking in the region. Marco’s selection for lunch was also exceptional.

My wife and I spent a full day tasting wines from three wineries in the Piedmonte region. We have gone on many tours like this all over Europe and South America and this was by far the best one. Marco was born and raised in this area and knows the roads, grapes and local family owned wineries. The owners of the wineries along with Marco explained in detail where we were and what we were drinking and did not skimp on the tasting portions. Was much per personal than other winery tours we have been on. Would highly recommend. Mike and Robin

This was an Excellent wine tour with actual wine maker who knows the area Marco was very knowledgeable and fun and easy to spend the day exploring the area We went to La Morra where he explained the towns and regions at a perfect view spot. Then two small wineries with tasting We have been living in Europe and visited many areas but found this wine tour a welcome experience and have new insights into this region of Italy We highly recommend

My daughter and I did a full truffle hunt and wine tour with lunch with Marco. It was amazing! Marco was fun, passionate extremely knowledgeable about wine and the region. We got insider look at wine in the region. I would recommend Langa tours to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our full day with Marco! He was sure to tell us that he is not a professional tour guide, but we think that made the tour all the better. We learned so much about the area he calls home and his years of experience as a wine maker. He was patient and encouraged us to ask any questions. The views were breathtaking!! The kinds of scenery that we’d only seen in books or movies so seeing them in real life was spectacular! We visited three wineries where we were offered the opportunity to buy wine without any high pressure to do so. We splurged and are grateful that Marco is handling the shipping of our purchases for us. Overall, the day exceeded our expectations! Thank you, Marco!!

We spent the day with Marco…he was a wonderful guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and learned a lot about the wines of Piedmont from Marco. We visited three wineries, including Marco’s own Cascina Galarin. He scheduled our lunch in Neive … delicious food and spectacular scenery. Two wineries after lunch and we retuned to Turin from Asti by train. Highly recommend!!

Marco claims not to be a formal tour guide but he is seriously knowledgeable and entertaining and probably better than a tour guide. Learned so much and I’m grateful that I took the tour. The wine selection was good and the choice for lunch was great.

Marco is so much fun! Marco has so much knowledge about all the wines and different areas of that wine country. He took us off the beaten path to some larger and smaller wineries. He recommended a nice restaurant with a beautiful view for our lunch break. Would absolutely do another tour with Marco when I bring my husband next time!

Marco was prompt and full of energy. He took us around to three different wineries which provided great tastings. We really enjoyed his knowledge of the local wine region.
