What an amazing place! Really enjoyed our visit! All the staff were super helpful and friendly, including Inga and the lady at the gift shop - nothing was a problem and so happy to answer questions. The exhibit itself was incredibly interesting and loved having a soldier to follow throughout

Very interactive display. Highly recommend. It was difficult with small kids to really soak it all in but worth the journey on a rainy day anyway.

The Anzac Centre was a ‘must do’ while in Albany. Perched high on a hill overlooking the coast - the building itself and location is stunning, but the museum itself is so well done. You are given a card when you enter of a real soldier- and you are able to follow his life and service through the centre.

It was a good museum with a lot of interesting information about the first world war. Since I don't know a lot about WWI it was informative and interesting, I really liked the personalized stories you could listen to. Unfortunately it was too much to listen to unless you have all day, but that didn't matter.

This is a must do when in Albany.
Situated within the grounds of the Princess Royal Fortress overlooking King George Sound.
ANZAC's left in ships anchored below here to go to World War 1.
The centre has lots of great exhibits. You are given your own ANZAC to follow their journey as you walk through the exhibits with a speaker you activate with your person.
You can search records as well.
Very, very interesting. In particular we were able to trace the Ship and it's Anchorage that carried my wife's great great uncle to WW1. Unfortunately he was killed at Gallipoli on or about ANZAC Day.

This is a wonderful tribute to the ANZACs and to be there at the 11 hour of the 11th day of the 11 month made it even more special. Would recommend this to all Australians as a must see with incredible views of the harbour where they all left

A poignant tribute to the many troops for whom Albany was the last port of call on their way to the horrors of the First World War in the far off Middle East and Europe, with panoramic view of King George Sound in which the convoys assembled. The displays were diverse, interesting and very well presented and a nice touch was to give each visitor a card with the name of soldier whose journey through the War and afterwards could be followed as you made your way through the exhibits.

I thought I knew a lot about the ANZAC legendary men and women. There was a lot to learn especially when following a person. The technology is awesome👌
Being on the very site where 41,000 Aussies and New Zealonders left for World War 1 by ship is amazing.
Being part of the Albany Heritage Precint places you in good position to enjoy a still living history.
