Totalmente recomendado, guía muy atento y servicial. Las montañas son mágicas! Regalan shots de vodka polaco , además de acrecer agua y snack en el camino. Se hacen varias paradas para comprar algo e ir al servicio.

I paid in person and was told that I needed to pay more than the list price because it was Christmas time and only 2 others booked the tour. However, every seat in the van was taken. The tour guide/driver was surly, got lost twice, was viewing the directions from his cell phone that was held between his legs - the cell phone holder was broken. I and others offered to hold the phone for him and he said no. Twice, the van rolled back into several of us when we were getting items from the back.
I was told that I would be returned to Krakow by 6 pm - not true. Everyone but me apparently had booked a 2.5-hour additional excursion to a thermal bath. The thermal bath was closed when we arrived because it was Christmas Eve. The driver took us further away from Krakow to another thermal bath that was also closed - he didn't call them to ensure they were open.
At the end of the trip tourists were arguing with the driver about their refund for the thermal bath - that was fun on Christmas eve! Because of the misinformation etc., I missed Christmas Eve dinner with my friend.

Had the most amazing day with our guide Matthew from poland active he went above and beyond thank you. The weather was poor but he took us to different places then we stopped for lunch just outside zakopane I would recommend this trip

I can not recommend this tour enough which was made even better by our outstanding guide Krzysztof! His abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm made this trip one to remember.
On the journey to Zakopane we had a comfort break, stopped at a traditional highlander house and even crossed the boarder into Slovakia. Arriving in Zakopane we had a coffee break/second breakfast and then visited the local museum. We then visited an original highlander church before riding the funicular to the top of Mt.Gubalowka. We witnessed amazing views and tucked into a tasty traditional goulash. We were then given free time to explore Zakopane before journeying back to Kraków.

We were greeted at the pick up point by our guide Jacek and driver Marek. Both were very polite and professional. The weather throughout the day was awful but obviously that's just one of this things that can't be helped. Our guide Jacek was great, full of information and didn't stop from collection right through to being dropped off later on that day. With the weather being so bad Jacek did fantastically well making sure that the day was still an enjoyable one.
First we stopped off at a place called Chochołów which was a small village where the majority of the houses were made out of wood. We called in to a typical "Highlander's" house where there was a bloke carving stuff out of wood. Was more interesting than it sounds.
From there we stopped off at one of the many cheese making huts en route to Zakopane. Here we tried some of the cheeses and some of the incredibly strong vodka. After here we made it to Zakopane where we visited two churches and a cemetery. We then called in to a museum for approx 50 mins and then went for lunch and a wander around the town. After lunch we took the funicular railway to look at the mountains. As it was raining we didn't see a great deal but thats nobody's fault. Afterwards we took the funicular back down and wandered through the market at the bottom and then back to the bus.
All things considered Jacek did an amazing job keeping us entertained and finding things of interest to do with the weather being so dreadful so I can only commend him for this.

Well worth taking a day out to visit Zakopane. The scenery is stunning & there's plenty to do in the town or if you ride to the top on the train.
Beware though even if you decide to walk down there's a charge???

Yes, it is crazy! but there is an area which is privat and there is fee if you want to use the path which is the nearest to the funicular, but there are a lot of paths where you don't have to pay.
Hope you wil reach the top of Gubałówka again!

One of the best tours we have been at. Jacek our tour guide really made a lot of effort to keep everyone entertained and made us laugh lots of times. His knowledge about Zakopane history and culture is outstanding we would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have a good time and learn about Polish history and culture. The trip went very smooth just too short!

The guide was terrific and told us lots of history about the highlanders; the weather was great and the visit to the wood carver and traditional homes was interesting. We were, however very disappointed with how touristy it was at the top of the funicular. We couldn’t believe how many stalls lined the route selling everything from souvenirs to rides on jumping castles. I think it would be much better if it was all a national park and you could do day or half day walks from the top of the funicular and enjoy the scenery.

Well organise, great company and good guide.
From the moment we got on the bus we were made welcome. The guide was warm and friendly and was there to make our day as enjoyable as possible. The group of people were lovely and we soon made new friends.
Our guide was very knowledgable and there were plenty of places to see and plenty of things to do. On a good day I think the views from the Tatra Mountain would be wonderful but if its raining I would take the option to stay in Zakopane and do some more exploring.

This was a smaller group tour from Krakow. It was about a 3 hr drive from the city, along mostly major highways.
Unfortunately, the weather was rainy and chilly, but it did clear enough to get some great views!
In the town, we had free time for lunch and shopping.
The group visited an interesting little folklife museum, complete with an authentic wooden cabin.
Our guide was very nice and informative, giving us a lot of background information on history, geography, etc of the area. A very enjoyable day, despite the weather.

In the town, we had free time for lunch and shopping.

very little walking - the most strenuous bit was up the high street
was wondering are the winter sports included in the Zakopane and Tatras Mts Day tour? (skiing ect.)

Not that I know of. You would probably need to book into a hotel there and organise your own skiing time. If you are travelling from Krakow on a day trip then there is a lot of travelling time - no time for additional extras to the tour itself.
