My husband and I took a private tour of Alexandria and it was a lot of fun. Our tour guide (Jacob) was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, organized and had a great sense of humor. The catacombs were a lot bigger and more decorated than I had expected them to be. The tombs had a mix of ancient Egyptian, Roman and Hellenistic influences. They looked different from anything else I had seen. The Citadel was amazing. They allow people to go inside and explore all of the different levels. The view from the watch towers on the top floor is really cool. We had lunch at a Shawarma place and the food was amazing.

Didn't love the catacombs so much but everything else was amazing! Would have preferred more time in the library in retrospect. Still a good tour and good food suggestions to accompany!

We booked a 4 day Cairo Alexandria tour with jakada travels. The service and response time was good. They were prompt to respond to all pur questions and are knowledgeable about the documents that would be required. We travelled through Cairo and Alexandria with tour guide Mohammed Fayed and Ahmed fatouh drove us around. Mohammed is an excellent guide who would explain the history and then give us time to explore the place on our own. He also was open to changing the itinerary as per our wish and was very thoughtful about our comfort throughout. Ahmed is an excellent driver, very chivalrous and kind. We had a wonderful time with Mohammed and Ahmed and will definitely recommend them 5/5.

Ahmed, my tour guide was OUTSTANDING!! His attention to detailed customer service was impeccable from day one to the end of the tour. Ahmed was thorough in providing descriptions of Alexandra.

Went to Alexandria and had lunch at the Fish Market, with a great view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Citadel. The fish was great too! We spent the morning at the Library of Alexandria and the Catacombs and the afternoon at the Citadel with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Sara. It was a great day, the 2 hour drive from Cairo was worth it.

Catacombs were amazing. Never realized that history was so interesting. Will definitely return. Lunch on the Mediterranean over looking the water tasting fish straight from the sea. Citadel Fortress was just beautiful. Did not understand how they could get so many troops in one location. Wonderful group activity. Highly recommend. It’s worth your time.

My friend and I had an excellent experience with Abdul. He's very vast on Egyptian history and Antiques so it's always fun to listen to him as one explores the priceless treasures in Egypt.

We had the best tour of Alexandria with Sara. She took us to the Alexandria library, the Citadel and got wonderful views of the ocean. Sara even bought us shawarma from her favourite place. Sara was so thoughtful and went at our pace.
The only way to see Egypt is with Sara as your guide.
