Sheldrick Nairobi Kenya Elephant orphanage
A must see tour. The care takers are wonderful, we had a great time and I would highly recommend this tour.
The Elephants. We’re from a few months old to many years old. They were so cute during feeding.
Our tour glide from Collette was wonderful.
I hope you get time to go to this Sheldrick Elephant Orghanage while visiting Nairobi, Kenya Africa

One of my best trips so far! The elephant orphanage is incredible so is the giraffe center! You can see that these animals all well treated! Our guide Titus was so flexible and gave us all the informations we need! We decided last minute to do the safari at nairobi park and it was no problem for our guide for a little upgrade! I absolutely recommend. a must do in nairobi :)

Great experience!
Titus was great! He knew a lot about the animals and answered my questions. He even went and got me to a place for coffee when I desperately needed it :)

Last minute cancellation!

Don’t book with this company, I booked my tour weeks in advance and was all set to go on my trip but received a cancellation email at 8pm the night before they were due to collect me from my hotel. The email offered no explanation or apology but after speaking with many locals and other operators they suspect this tour company doesn’t book out slots for the elephant tour in advance so it was fully booked for the day I was due to visit so they just cancel last minute. Luckily my hotel were able to pull out all the stops to get me on a tour of the giraffe center with someone else, which I highly recommend visiting just not with gracepatt! It was such a shame to miss the elephants as it was part of my birthday present and was really looking forward to it. Only positive thing to say is I did get my refund with no issues

A Must-do Visit
A wonderful experience. Very sweet and moving.
The keepers are dedicated people with a sincere desire to see these orphaned elephants returned to the wild.
A very informative and clearly articulated talk accompanied the elephant feeding.
A short (1hour) event, but so worth it.

Don’t book Gracepatt
The Gracepatt tour scammed me. The elephant orphanage tickets are limited. If you care about going, DO NOT use the Gracepatt company. They don’t care at about you and your time.

I booked a tour for Sept. 3 and it was confirmed. On Sept 2 I double checked and asked if everything was good to go for the Sept. 3 tour. Grace messaged same day, yes, all confirmed. On Sept 3 driver arrived and didn’t tell me there was no ticket for the elephant orphanage, even though I said it was the most important part before getting in the car. Only when we get to the gate does the driver say oh I don’t have a ticket, we can go do something else.
NO! If I wanted to go somewhere else I would of booked it/done it.
So frustrating, I could of gone with another company if GracePatt wasn’t so deceitful. No apologies at all.

Another operator accepting a booking but cancelling at the last minute

I’m sure the visit would be great, but 3 different operators accepted our booking then cancelled. This particular operator, less than 24 hours via email. Which meant we still waited in the hotel lobby in vain as I don’t check my emails daily when on vacation

DON'T BUY THIS TOUR, but from the official website.
This tour agency is not a serious company. They promise they will take you to the elephant orphanage but they just don't have tickets. I bought my tour and sent many messages asking if everything was confirmed, but they didn't respond. They only answered me the night before the tour saying that they didn't have the ticket and proposed a visit to a museum that we had no interest in visiting. I requested the cancellation of the amount paid and decided to go to the orphanage on my own. Upon arriving there, I was informed that this tour agency has been deceiving people for a long time and that the orphanage itself is trying to get tripadvisor to remove this tour from the air. Do not buy from this company, but from the official website.

Good tour company/driver
Wellington was great! Arrived early for pick up, took us to the giraffe center, elephant orphanage, and some souvenir shopping on between. He communicated thru WhatsApp which was very convenient.
