Leo was flexible from the start--accommodating our travel schedule in every way he could.
His stories were absolutely fantastic, and his knowledge of Singapore, the people, the culture, the history were completely fascinating.
He led us through popular sites and sites that we certainly would have overlooked otherwise but ended up enjoying tremendously.
His recommendations for the rest of our trip were also very much appreciated.
So glad to have met Leo and truly enjoyed our day with him traveling throughout Singapore.
His stories were absolutely fantastic, and his knowledge of Singapore, the people, the culture, the history were completely fascinating.
He led us through popular sites and sites that we certainly would have overlooked otherwise but ended up enjoying tremendously.

our favorite part of the trip was during the visit to the Hindu temples. the guides stories were fascinating and at the same time makes you want to delve deeper into the subject

HJ met us in our Hotel at 9.30 in the morning. As we had been to Singapore before he asked what we had already seen and to give him an idea of what we wanted to see and then we were off.\n\nHJ has a great knowledge of the city and showed us all we had asked to see and so much more including areas and things that as a tourist on their own would never see.\n\nWe had a great time and highly recommend the city tour with HJ and \nhave already decided next time we pass through Singapore to do the evening tour as we are sure there is still much more to see and would like HJ to show us\n\n\n\n\n\n

We took a full day tour with Richard on the first day of our visit and it was the best decision- I would definitely recommend this and him to anyone visiting Singapore! He gave us a fantastic history of the country and sites as we went along. As a native he brought a wealth of information as well as guidance on local culture and customs that was extremely helpful to us for the rest of our week long stay. Following our day with him we felt totally comfortable using the wonderfully efficient high speed rail system, as well as comfortable knowing best practices on how to use it. A very small example of this is when I went to take a drink of water while sitting on the train and he helpfully warned me- no eating or drinking on the train! (oh!!!) I also loved that our private tour with him gave us flexibility to stay longer in places we were more interested in, or move forward when we were done. If you're pondering a tour of the city- this is the way to start your trip. After our day with him we circled back to the places of interest for us, and he was also able to provide helpful recommendations for other activities. Can't say enough good things about Richard and this tour!

We had an 8 hr layover in Singapore and chose Jon to take us around the city. Jon met us at the airport, took us around to several sites and made our layover fly by! Our daughter wanted dumplings while in Singapore and Jon took us to an excellent restaurant which made her day. It was great having a private tour guide just waiting to take you wherever you wanted. At the end of the tour, he even gave us souvenirs to remember our trip. We highly recommend Jon and Withlocals tour company for anyone wanting to see Singapore with limited time!

We had an absolute blast with Meng! It was so well-organized from the beginning. About a couple of weeks before the tour, Meng had messaged me on WhatsApp to coordinate. Our tour was fantastic from start to finish:
- Got breakfast at a place right around the corner from our hotel. The half-boiled eggs, buns, and coffee were so great that we went there for breakfast the next 2 days!
- We did some walking around and got to see Merlion Park, saw a couple of temples, got a history of the Singapore River, Chinatown, Little India
- Lunch was phenomenal and we had laksa for the first time. This was so good!
- Mount Faber and Henderson Waves such a blast!!
I would highly recommend this tour.
Couldn't have planned a better trip. So much fun. Thank you, Meng!

We had a great time with Jon on our tour of Singapore yesterday. He is so helpful and friendly and boy does he know his stuff about this city.
We communicated regularly during the planning phase of the trip and he was so accommodating to all of my requests.
On the day of the tour he arrived early and was waiting for us at the hotel. His vehicle is large, super comfortable and immaculate. Before we headed off he confirmed all the places I wanted to go then we took off. He covered all my requests plus so much more. We visited special places that we never heard about that we that we loved and he taught us so much about all the places we visited in a fun and entertaining style.
We highly recommend spending some time with Jon while you are in Singapore.

Fantastic airport pick up and overview tour of Singapore before our 3;00 pm check in time at our hotel. Helped us to plan our stay and a great way to see everything in several hours. It was a rainy day so also a great way to see the city without getting totally soaked. Jon had interesting stories & perspectives to give us knowledge about Singapore’s history & architecture and neighborhoods. He had lots of great suggestions on eating, shopping, activities and even places to stay, as we were open to moving hotels for second half of week to see a new area.

A brilliant day full of contrast and culture with the excellent Greyson as our guide. We saw the old and new sides of the city, and explored the deluxe and and traditional areas, as well as some not usually seen by tourists. Greyson gave us just the right balance of his outstanding knowledge to make it fascinating but not overwhelming. We thoroughly recommend Greyson to guide you through amazing Singapore.

We were a group of four from Bulgaria and visited Singapore in February. We like walking tours with local guides, because we find that this is the best way to immerse ourselves in different places and cultures.
Our local guide in Singapore was H.J.. He picked us up from the hotel, asked us about our expectations and interests and customised the two-day tour.
H.J. showed some of the most iconic structures, places and buildings in Singapore - the "Gotham building" with its majestic courtyard, the MICA building, the National Gallery and the Victoria Theatre, Haji Lane, Clarke and Boat Quays, the Marina Bay Sands Observation deck, many "green" buildings, rooftops, bridges, parks, gardens, bars etc. All of these were even more impressive on the inside.
We did a walk through the 500-metre-long sky garden on the top of the Pinnacle building with its stunning views over the city.
H.J. took us to the URA Centre, where we had the opportunity to learn about and explore Singapore's exciting planning, urban and architectural journey.
H.J. also arranged for us to visit the Supreme Court building and we learned a lot from him about the Singapore judicial system.
Throughout the tour H.J. took many wonderful photos of our group and then sent them to us.
It was a truly high-class private service with a very knowledgeable and reliable guide.
Thank you so much, H.J., for showing us not only the main sites, but also so many other special and distinctive places, which make Singapore such an amazing and vibrant metropolis!
I definitely recommend H.J. to everyone who would like to see and experience Singapore in a different way. I especially recommend The City and Public Housing Tour to everyone who is interested in architecture and urban development.

Contact Tour With A Local ...Singapore and see if they will negotiate. We wanted to see as much as we could see comfortably in a day. Our emphasis was social, cultural, food. They will personalise a tour according to your preferences and requirements. Our guide, H.J. was terrific. Contact him and see if he will do a shorter tour for you.
We saw places that we would not have found looking around by ourselves and that really added to what was already an excellent experience. Heather

Your best bet is to book a day tour on withlovals. com it is a private tour and worth every penny. I spent the day exploringand it was amazing!
