A blue walk to remember

The coordination for the visit was smooth thru WA. We were met on time by Bantu ji, who started to explain the history of this wonder place. We walked thru the Blue city and got to know why " Blue". A nice easy walk thru narrow streets and soak in some history. Finished with excellent tea and local snacks. Was a wonderful experience and a definite recommendation. Do the morning tours only before the sun starts to burn ( pls no traffic, no honks)

A worthwhile tour. Jodhpur is more than the fort. Our guide explained the reasons for the blue color and well and the history of Joshpur and other anecdotes about the place. He arrived early to the hotel and covered the old city. He also took us for some delicious somosas by the clock tower. Plus the price of the tour is great value.

Beautiful walk

We started our walk at 7am, which was perfect for March because it was nice and cool. Our guide was very informative, and the walk was exactly what we were looking for. Both the blue city and the views. We highly recommend this tour.

The perfect walking tour

This is a must do tour expierence. Jodhpur has alot of narrow street and hidden places to visit and he will take you to them all. He explained the history of the city took us to different parts. We saw spice shops what spices were from the area what made them speical, tobocca shops we saw tabooca leaves, goldsmiths where they were making jewellery, making bangles from lacca, ancient wells still use today. He did not try to sell you things but just explaining his city and also took some lovely photos for us. Honestly was a bargin.

Reimbursement despite late cancelation

Bathu communicates well and takes personal pride in presenting his city. Due to a double-booking mistake on our side, however, we ended up not doing the tour with Banthu. Despite us being late in informing him and having no expectation, he went out of his way and insisted to reimburse us. His character speaks volumes. Thank you Banthu, we hope to explore Jodphur with you some day!

Beautiful walking tour of the blue city of Jodhpur

Beautiful walking tour of the old city with great company Bhantu! So educational- he explains why Jodhpur is the blue city along with the colours of the other cities in Rajasthan. The old city is like a maze and we wouldn’t have been able to explore the important sites if it wasn’t for our guide Bhantu! If you book a walking tour in Jodhpur, make sure you book this one because Bhantu is a local here. Thank you so much .

Blue city walk deluxe

Amazing tour through the beautiful maze of the blue city of jodhpur… deepak is an absolute local hero knowing every single corner of his hometown. Also a hidden talent of his are stunning pics at unique places… so if you wanna give your social media appearance a push and make everyone at home jealous this is your tour… thanks so much for the wonderful experience…

Amazing tour and service

Our guide Deepak was awesome! He knew the streets really well and had good knowledge of the city and its history. He helped us explore things off the beaten path and places we would not be able to see on our own.
He helped us explore the food scene as well including chai, gulab jamuns, samosas, pyaz kachori and mirchi wadas etc.
He also took us to a haveli from a picture we showed him as he was familiar with it.
He also escorted us to a shopping warehouse which had great selection and wholesale prices.
He spent almost 6-7 hours with us and all of it with a smile. He was also kind enough to deliver a fresh batch of gulab jamuns to our hotel for us to take back with us.
Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend him.

Blue city is really blue

This was an amazing tour of the city, which would have been very difficult to navigate on our own.

Our tour guide Deepak was knowledgeable having been a tour guide for Jodhpur for the last 23 years and was an official licensed guide. He spoke 5 languages and his English was easy to understand.

Really enjoyed the tour but you will have to watch carefully where you tread.

Only 10% of the pre covid number of tourists have now returned to visiting the city, so now is definitely the time to be visiting.

Great blue city walk with wonderful guide.

Our guide deepak was fantastic arriving at our hotel taking us for our 2 hr walk in the blue city. Seeing so many small streets with wonderful murals on the walls. 23 years of experience in the city walls. Deepak also speaks 5 languages!! English was very clear. Wonderful walk with refreshments and samosa included.
