We had a great experience at this traditional event-the tea ceremony.
Focus and respect the ceremony, I remember our tea master quote:
"Don’t worry, don’t rush: stop and smell the flowers."

Besides, it is highly recommended that you choose a kimono package as you can take photos during the session. Wearing traditional costume while learning traditional tea ceremony may be a merit point.

best thing to do to get in contact with culture, history and mind of japan and its people. in addition very warm, personal and familiar atmosphere on a very high level

Incredible experience. A must for all people all ages.

Old tradition that everyone should know.

Excellent Hostess and an experience I will treasure. Adults and kids really should all go through this experience.

I will recommend it to all my clients traveling to Japan.

Ordered my own bamboo green tea wisk.

Today we had the pleasure of experiencing the beautiful Japanese Tea Ceremony.
The three of us found it a fascinating insight into the culture, that was enhanced by the beautiful setting.
I would highly recommend this tour and it was one of our.highlights of our trip to Kyoto.

Highly recommended

Highly recommend this tea ceremony experience.
Masumi was great- explaining the history and components of the tea ceremony, demonstrating, then us giving it a go.
The setting was beautiful as well, making it really special.

Beautiful, unique experience

My daughter and I absolutely loved this fascinating insight into the traditional Japanese tea ceremony, our host Masumi was so welcoming and knowledgable. If you like tea, this a must-do. Since our return to London we have enjoyed making matcha green tea the way Masumi showed us, using the traditional bamboo utencils we purchased on the day. It was a unique memory in time but also one that that we can continue to enjoy.

Abbiamo partecipato ad una sessione privata, comprensiva di vestizione del kimono. E' stato fantastico e vale la pena di provarla con gli abiti tradizionali. Non è stato semplice per via del caldo (il kimono consiste in tre strati di stoffa) ma assolutamente da fare.
Masumi è un'ospite gentile, elegante e parla perfettamente inglese. Abbiamo avuto interessanti scambi sui nostri paesi ed è stata molto simpatica. Ci ha anche spiegato l'origine e la storia del tempio, non cambierei nulla dell'esperienza che abbiamo fatto e la consiglio a tutti!
