Our tour guide Javier was an excellent host, very knowledgeable and friendly with the whole family. We had an amazing day exploring Kyoto and learning about the rich history and culture of the area. Javier was very accommodating and flexible with our plans. I highly recommend!

A++Fantastic day in Kyoto with knowledgeable, caring and friendly guide as well as driver. Kokoro ( guide) and Tadashi (driver) did an excellent job of creating a day to match our requests. We went to absolutely beautiful, golden and silver fairy pavilions, as well as a lesser known, but unborn beautiful Zen temple and had a fantastic authentic lunch and visit to Gion. Could not have asked for a better day.

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Adria-san. He was able to tell us interesting information about Kyoto and took us to a lot of beautiful places, including some that were a little off the beaten path and therefore not as crowded. We enjoyed having a beautiful temple almost to ourselves. Thank you for a great Kyoto experience, Adria-san!

Nico was an excellent guide for our family of four (with kids ages 7 and 9). Not only did he help us to stop and appreciate the beauty of Kyoto around us (including backstreets and local shrines), he helped us discover hidden gems in each of the shrines and temples we visited - tips, tricks, and knowledge we would not have otherwise known!
Nico helped us to map a very reasonable plan for the day and was gracious about stopping for frequent food and snacks to keep the kids’ (OK and my own) blood sugar up. He is a cool human who knows how to make the most out of a day without going overboard with too much information. He relates well with kids and knew how to engage them throughout.
As a seasoned traveler and one who doesn’t usually engage in guided experiences, touring with Nico was an absolute pleasure. We had a day that will go down in the books!!

We spent a great day in Tokyo with Laurent. He was able to balance the needs of both adults and teens on a day-long tour. He tailored the day to our interests and we were able to see a lot in one day: Fushimi Inari, Kiyomizu, Arashiyama monkey park, and the Bamboo Forest. He is extremely knowledgeable about shrines, temples, Shintoism, and Buddhism; and also can bring you to off-the-beaten-path sites.

Great tour of Kyoto. Eriko was an awesome guide. We traveled by train and bus to many sites of the beautiful city. We were able to see some cherry blossoms. My oldest daughter wanted to try Japanese curry and Eriko took us to an amazing little restaurant. The food was delicious. she was able to take us to our request stops and added a few other highlights. I recommend this tour and Eriko.

We had a great experience with Akemy. She is an excellent guide. Very knowledgable, engaged and a very nice person to talk to. She also helped us to organize ourselves for the 2 nd day. I highly recommend Akemy.

We had a wonderful and informative day tour with Korkoro - great way to get an introduction to the key sights in Kyoto.
Had a 24,000 step day but well worth it (I think!) Korkoro added extra time to make sure we saw EVERYTHING and it was much appreciated.

We had the most remarkable tour with our highly educated and charming guide Laura, it was perfect. She truly cared to make this a memorable tour and her outstanding knowledge and attention to detail was impeccable. We have travelled the four corners of the earth and been on some great tours but we have to say this tour will for us be one of the best that we have ever been on.
