Mika guided us through Shinsekai, where the kids couldn’t get enough of the shateki games. We also ate a mountain of kushikatsu—everything was delicious! A fun, family-friendly night we’ll always remember.

Our first trip to Japan was already special, but this food tour made it unforgettable. From the start, our guide, Yuta, made us feel welcome, leading us through backstreets we never would have found on our own. Making Okonomiyaki with kids was a highlight—not just for the flavors, but for the stories Yuta shared about Osaka’s food culture. Even though we don’t eat much, we enjoyed learning and soaking in the warm atmosphere.
What made the night even more special was seeing our kids so happy. It had been a long time since they were this excited during a trip. And just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better, Yuta surprised them with a small chocolate treat at the end of the tour. That simple gesture made the night even more meaningful—a memory we’ll cherish forever.

Our guide, Satoshi, made this tour unforgettable! We explored hidden alleys, tasting amazing local food along the way. The highlight was the sake tasting—Satoshi introduced us to different regional varieties, and even though we don’t drink much, we loved learning about the flavors and traditions. A perfect mix of culture, food, and fun!

Osaka’s energy was incredible, from the lively streets to the cozy local eateries. Our guide, Hiroshi, made the experience even better—he knew all the best spots and shared fun stories along the way. The okonomiyaki was fluffy and packed with flavor, and dipping kushikatsu into that rich sauce was so satisfying. But the best part? The last stop—a retro dagashi bar! Even though we don’t drink, we and our son had a blast trying nostalgic Japanese snacks. A perfect night of food, culture, and great company!

This was the best way to spend three hours in Osaka. Ben was the friendliest guide, and he took us to three excellent restaurants (a small family restaurant, a good example of street food, and an award winning dumpling place). We did have some choice in the restaurants. He also showed us some of the local area and showed us how to play some of the area’s carnival games. It was a great night. I wish we could give this six stars.

I didn’t expect to love Osaka’s street food this much! Walking through Namba’s neon-lit streets felt so lively, and by the time we reached Shinsekai, I was completely in love with the retro vibe. The kushikatsu was crispy and flavorful, and trying takoyaki fresh off the grill was a game-changer. Such an amazing night!

My family and I joined the Tennoji night tour and absolutely loved it! We walked through local streets that tourists usually miss, enjoyed some delicious okonomiyaki, and stopped by cozy little bars along the way. The atmosphere was lively and full of authentic Osaka energy. Our guide was friendly, funny, and made the evening very relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. If you’re visiting Osaka, definitely try this tour to experience the real charm of Tennoji at night!

When we got back to our hotel, everyone said, “That was the best night in Osaka by Anna !” Even now, we still talk about the funny signs we saw, the friendly strangers who said hello to the kids, and the taste of that first bite of kushikatsu. It wasn’t just a meal — it became one of our favorite family travel memories.
