Adam is a really experienced and knowledgeable guide, well versed in the history, geography and archaeology of the area. The jeep ride felt safe and fun. The views were magnificent. Adam was able to answer our many questions about the Machtesh and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this tour with Adam.

We had an excellent tour and guide, who was very informative, and explained the complex formation of the Maktesh in terms we could easily understand. I highly recommend the tour.

Our tour guide, Naor, was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was friendly and engaging and answered all of our questions. If you arrange to be picked up at the visitor center, either arrive early to do the self-guided tour or stay after the Jeep tour. It is well worth it! We had a fabulous day!

We did the tour with Elyon. He explained us in detail how the macktesh was formed. Drove us to beautiful spots and took very good family pictures. He was charismatic and informative. Highly recommend this tour, it’s a must in Mitzpei Ramon.

We had a really special, long visit into the maktesh led by the highly knowledgeable and fun son of the owner. Lots of wonders of nature to see and enjoy. Navigating the terrain was a special experience, certainly one to remember.

Both the crater tour and astronomy tour were the highlights of our trip to Mitzpe Ramon. Our guides on both were kind, funny, knowledgeable, and flexible. They communicated beforehand to coordinating details, and the tours themselves were perfect. We enjoyed these as private tours, which was well worth the price to have the experiences tailored to us. We learned about the history of the makhtesh and got a first-hand experience driving and walking around beautiful parts of this natural wonder. And the stars overhead at night through the incredible digital telescope are difficult to describe. The process from booking to dropoff was relatively easy, too.

Our guide Naor was so knowledgeable and personable. He was especially focused on preserving the integrity of the area. He taught us the meaning of the word desert and encouraged us to touch, feel and smell our varied surroundings. It was an experience we will not forget!

We wish to book the two hour guided jeep tour. Is it possible to arrange transport from Tel Aviv to Mitzpe Ramon and back to Tel Aviv the next day. We are sleeping at Hotel Bereishit overnight.
Dates are 16th and 17th May.
