家族経営のアットホームなツアー会社
島在住の家族により経営されているツアー会社のオペレーションだけあって、割と自由に対応してくださって楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました。次回また島を訪れることがあったら、絶対またこの家族と一緒に島を回りたいと思いました。

Iaorana! I had inquired about a full day tour with the neighboring tour company and was referred to Easter Island Travel because the guides can explain sites in English better than they could. The Agents spoke very good English and arranged pickup at my Room. Franco was an excellent guide. I do Jeep Tours myself and was very impressed. We visited many site on the island, Franco was a wealth of information about Rapa Nui, and lunch was included. The van used had AC, too. I would highly recommend this company for booking tours.

For all budding archaeologists!

Having wanted to visit Rapa Nui for ages, the opportunity arose and I booked this two day tour to get the most out of my visit. This tour with Easter Island Travel was everything that I had hoped for and gave me a very personal and concise introduction to the Island, it’s history and the people that lived there. Both guides, Noah and Andres, made the days special. Their excellent driving in avoiding most of the many potholes to helping guide us up fairly steep hillside paths was commendable. They both had such an obvious love of their native land and were keen to share it with the group. No one should leave Easter
Island without taking this tour! So much better than simply seeing the sights on your own. Each guide had their own style, not one better than another, but continuity with them may have made the trip more enjoyable. Try to ask for the same guide. Lunch was a lovely, personal affair at the tour companies home and dietary requirements were met, for example there were several of us that did not each the fish served. Some parts of both days are quite rugged with lots of walking sometimes up very steep paths so do be prepared! Those with health or bad joints might find it difficult although the guides were always there to help. Sturdy walking shoes are a must and hats for those who feel the sun! Rain coats are also helpful. Our small group was fantastic with all of us getting along wonderfully well. The guides answered all of our questions no matter how inane they may have seemed to them, yet they also listened to our points of view!

I left both days very tired, but filled with such a wonderful new knowledge of the island, the Moai’s and the history behind them. The latent archaeologist in me was very satisfied!

Great introduction to the history and archeology of Rapa Nui
Franco was a friendly and knowledgeable guide. It was great to have a small group, the tour wasn't rushed. Lunch was very tasty. All in all this was a good tour, worth the money

Because we lived in Santiago Chile for nearly two years, my husband had the opportunity to visit Easter Island. It was an unforgettable experience! One flight a day arrives on the island and one flight departs. Accommodations ahead of time are necessary. The local population is friendly and knowledgeable about the statues, culture, and history of the island. One day is not enough to see everything so plan accordingly.

El guía Andrés sabía mucho sobre la Isla, datos que no salen en libros... conocimientos de la Isla, por vivir ahí y compartir con expertos, científicos y pasión por aprender y transmitir lo que sabe... Sin embargo, el resto del grupo fueron muy desagradables. Yo y otra chica, éramos las únicas que hablábamos español, el resto del grupo solo Inglés y a pesar de que el guía hablaba excelentes ambos idiomas, el resto sentía que se perdía tiempo al explicar en dos idiomas. Sugiero hacer más equilibrados los grupos, para la comodidad de todos.

El tour full Day no incluye Anakena, por favor agregar el destino y eliminar otros menos atractivos. Otras agencias si lo incluyen y visitan lo mismo.

It's a shame that the company has racist employee.
There is a guide name simon, who is the man has beard. he joke about Chinese loudly, saying all of the Chinese are rude and all of the Chinese will speak loudly in public place. I'm not going to comment on all of the Chileans from the behavior of this guide. But the guide judge Chinese people base on one or two Chinese he has ever seen in his life. Especially I am a Chinese and I'm in his group and I follow his guide quietly.
Even dog knows that don't bite the hand who feed you.

Hello Eror... Thank you for giving me the time to discuss this issue with you at the airport before your flight back to Santiago. As I expressed to you then, please receive our sincere apologies if the comments of our guide hurt your feelings and made you feel unconfortable during the tour you booked with us. We strive to continue being the top rated tour operator in Rapa Nui with the focus on always exceeding our customers´ expectations. As I assured you, I had a long conversation with our guide and he as well feels very sorry for the perception you had from him. I can assure you that Simon by no means has issues with any ethnicity, in fact he has always been fascinated by asian cultures, especially chinese. Here at Rapa Nui we often speak freely, since people here have an innocent mind, though nothing is meant by it. In fact, I have yet to see another place like this, where people are totally open-minded with any ethnicity, preferences and social status. Simon, on this specific case, was responding to a joke about chinese tourists that was made by another chinese customer on our tour that day. This does not mean he should have made those comments, but please rest assured that he did not mean to hurt your feelings at any time. I can guarantee that this will not happen again in the future and if you choose Rapa Nui as your travel destination again, we would love to welcome you as our honored guest. For those of you accomplishing the bucket list trip on Easter Island (Rapa Nui) this is a great trip to see a portion of the island. Please note, you'll see several important locations on the north and west areas, but not the signature Tongariki platform. The tour guide was a local, so very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. The other thing to note, is that some of the distances between the van and the statues requires a hike, some of which are up fairly steep and rocky terrain. Overall, this is an excellent overview of these important sites.

Couldn't Have Been Better

We had a wonderful 2 days with Franco. The company has really figured out where to go and when to go there in order to feel like you (and many times be) the only people at each site. While we could have toured the sites easily without a tour, the information and feel of each area that Franco brought to our visit was amazing. The wealth of information about the Rapa Nui culture, the history of the explorers and archeologists, was the knowledge that allowed us to leave our vacation feeling like we had gained a much better understanding of the place we had visited.
