Quite well done issuing the technology in our phones. But wasn't perfect!
Arriving to at least 30% of the destinations, the description of the house, the pic on the app of the house, and the outlined property location on the map didn't match up. So many of them we went back and forth trying to match up the house with what the commentary said and gave up.
Unfortunately, doesn't connect to Apple car play, and in the rental doesn't have a phone holder so had to rig up a makeshift phone holder with some string so the driver could follow the map.
With those big negatives, was still worth the cost compared to the companies offering tours. It took us to places I wouldn't have known how to find out where to go. Some of the streets in the hills are crazy!
Bear in mind, most of the houses are just pulling up to tall hedges and huge gates 🤣.

I'm glad you prepared my Hollywood Celebrity & Star Homes Tour before your visit! It works offline, perfect for adventures. Start at the designated point to keep the fun going—wandering off can interrupt it. Some homes may be private to protect residents' privacy. While CarPlay and Android Auto aren’t available, Bluetooth, USB, or phone speakers will enhance your tour. I’m thrilled you value it—it’s valid for a year, so return anytime or explore other tours!

Initially, I was skeptical about this tour after reading some reviews, but I'm glad we gave it a try. We arrived a bit late and were considering a guided tour, but the cost was prohibitively expensive. So, we decided to take a chance on this self-guided tour, and it ended up working out perfectly for us. One tip: be sure to follow the audio prompts carefully, and you'll likely have a great experience without any disappointment.

Does not work well.. map does not work with CarPlay so need a navigator to tell you map directions…. Does not notify as you approach a point of interest for you to plan stopping not tells you how to come out until it’s done telling the story.

Hi Vishal, I’m sorry the tour didn’t work well for you. Currently, my app doesn’t support CarPlay, but you can connect it to your car stereo and listen to the directions while following the route. The audio notifications might not pop up if the speed limit or tour directions aren’t followed, as it’s essential to start from the designated start point and stay on track. This tour was terrible, if I could give 0 stars I would. It drove you around in circles giving you very little help in getting to where you needed to be. Didn't finish the commentary on several stops. We ended up just aborting the tour to end our torture.

If you’re a fan of shrubbery, this is the tour for you! This is absolutely a waste of time. You go to see these so called celebrity houses and all you can see are massive hedges and they live on tiny narrow roads that are hard to manage
App didn’t work through the apple carplay so I had to hold the phone in my hand while driving so I knew where to go. The app also thought I was facing a different direction then I was so it was hard to see where I had to go next.
Also pictures used for said houses are outdated and were hard to spot on the road while driving busy roads

Phillip, I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with the tour. I mentioned in the confirmation email that homes might be obscured by gates, shrubs, or private roads and that CarPlay and Android Auto aren't supported—Bluetooth, USB, or phone speakers are the way to go. Worked good and easy to follow but kept shutting down and not sure why. We would have to pull over or hope it would reopen before the next turn.

The idea for the tour is great and the commentaries are really good. We downloaded and started the app before heading off, but it doesn’t sync with Google Maps and didn’t work through Apple CarPlay. There were also a few gaps and delays in the directions given. As a result, the passenger often had read out the directions to the driver. That said it was value for money for the price and we had a really enjoyable day with it.

Mostly toured celebrities homes, but also Mulholland Drive and the Hollywood sign.
Not sure about the bad reviews I saw, but this was a great experience for me and my family. So much more than two other tour busses I had previously taken.
I experienced no problems with the app. My only suggestion would be for the app developer not to cover up the map when it plays one of the audio segments about a house or location

As you understand how it works it’s a very nice tour.
Needs sometimes a look on the map as not all intersections are clearly announced and for the driver it would good to know in a brief advance , when approaching the next attraction.

You only need to book one reservation per car! This is a self-guided driving tour so you can connect it to the car speakers. So if all of you fit in one car, just book one tour instead of four.

The tour has almost 30 homes. They’re spread out all over LA, around 40 miles. That’s why this self-guided tour is a bit different than our usual tours — here’s how it works:
Select the celebrity you care about and hit the “Go-To” button. Then you’ll get directions to their house. When you get there, you’ll hear about that star’s history, fun stories, and some new and unexpected Hollywood tales!
You’ll have total flexibility with time management this way. If you do want to visit every celeb, we have a suggested route connecting every house. Following this route would take at least 3 hours. (Accounting for photo stops, traffic, etc).
