We were very fortunate that there was a break in the rain this day. We had the tour guide all to ourselves. This fella was a gem and should really write a book on the history of Jefferson. I would certainly purchase it. A wonderful light hearted story teller extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the subject. Money went spent for a most enjoyable tour my wife and I enjoyed immensely. I certainly recommend this activity if you are visiting this beautiful historic little town.

Tommy is fantastic! He starts out with a tour of the historic B&B he and his wife own and we move to the comfortable shuttle for a great city tour! He is very knowledgeable about Jefferson's history. From the beginning to the end it was very interesting and included a refreshing dose of humor. It was my last activity. I would suggest taking this tour at the beginning of your stay in Jefferson. You will learn where to eat, where to shop for certain things, and places you want to see. At the end of the tour I hopped in my car and went to the many suggestions and sites that I would have missed had I not taken this tour. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Great tour of the home and shuttle tour of Jefferson. Tommy was very knowledgeable of the town and kept the tour interesting. I highly recommend this tour and maybe down when you first get there so you know where to go to eat and shop. Tommy has great recommendations.

The vehicle was comfortable. We visited all over the city and the Guide was funny, interesting, and extremely knowledgeable. He was a really good story teller and he included lots of historical and local facts. It was well worth the time and admission. I highly recommend it. Go on the tour first and then you can see the best places to shop and eat.

Highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Jefferson as you will get to see so much of the wonderful town. Very informative tour and tons of wonderful picture opportunities along the way.

My wife and I took this wonderful and informative tour of historic Jefferson, TX with Tommy Engel, who with his wife Tracey, are innkeepers of the beautiful Kennedy Manor B&B where we stayed. We highly recommend this tour as Tommy is not only very knowledgeable about Jefferson and it’s history, but is quite gregarious himself! Jefferson has so many lovely homes dating from the 1800’s and interesting historical buildings and sites that this is the perfect way to see and sense the “flavor” of Jefferson!

I highly recommend this tour, especially for locals who thought they already knew enough from school field trips and word of mouth (gossip). Bring your dry wit and love of puns (b.s. detector). Sit back, and enjoy the view of beautiful, fascinating, and disturbing Jefferson, TX.
