We had an amazing time on this boat ride - we went in winter and were expecting it to be super chilly but it was nice to have an indoor area to relax in the warmth! The experience was beautiful.

The views were fantastic and getting a full scope of the Boston scene from day to sunset to early evening was beautiful. Be ready to take a video of the sunset-timed cannon!

The sunset harbor tour was one of our better experiences with these types of things. The staff and jazz trio were wonderful as were the beverages and snacks. The 2-hours around the harbor was beautiful and very relaxing. We were expecting at least some dialogue over the speaker in the beginning as to what we were seeing as that was advertised but didn't happen. Some of the guests and staff were able to answer our questions though. What was not advertised was the detail that included there would be a band, food and beverages. I would highly recommend that more detail be included in the description so that first time visitors would know more of what to expect. Many around us ate dinner before, not knowing there would be food options. Overall I would recommend the trip if you are looking for a nice relaxing evening with beautiful views from the water.

We took this tour with 12 family members. It was a great way to see the Boston skyline at sunset as well as the surrounding towns and learn a little bit of Boston history. Tour offers drinks and snacky food. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

We had a fabulous time on our sunset cruise. The only thing was, it was so long. After a couple times around the harbor....we were ready to move on. Going around in circles 3 or 4 times was too much. We still got to see some gorgeous views though.

This was a very enjoyable sunset cruise. Made better by the perfect weather we had for October. Great views and calm waters. The commentary was very informative and friendly.
I have knocked a star off as we purchased our tickets at the ticket office at the port. I had viewed the price and cruise already on Viator but expected them to be a little cheaper booking direct. I was told the price and I was shocked at $53 per person. I explained to the lady that it was expensive and thought it was cheaper and she said that it should actually be more but that was reduced. I thought I must have mis read on Viator so paid for the tickets.
I then checked Viator and they were offering the same cruise for £23 each!!!
I went back and showed her, she said it was the same cruise but I couldn’t have a refund. Absolutely ripped off!! I understand prices may be a bit different but not 50% cheaper! Lesson learnt - always use Viator for the boat tickets!!

Thank you for booking a cruise with us and taking some time to leave a review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the sunset and appreciated the views and the commentary. It does appear that there was some confusion about the ticket pricing. The cruise that you were looking at on Viator was almost certainly for another company on a boat with a different quality because that is a price that we do not offer at sunset on Northern Lights but that is offered by another company at that time. The listings for competitors on Viator can appear to be very similar and often do not include the names of the vessels that they take place on, and the sunset trips on different boats often depart at the same time, so our ticket booth agent may also not have spotted the difference at a glance. We are sorry for the confusion, but we generally do not list the trips at substantially different rates from one booking platform to another, and you should not have been able to get the ticket for anything like 50% cheaper anywhere else unless there was a pricing mistake, which is very rare. Hopefully this clears up the pricing issues for you, and we hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again! The tour was as described. Beautiful boat ride with light commentary sprinkled throughout. It was an ideal outing for my group of 4 to hang out, have a few drinks and take in the views. Casual and laid-back tour. I would do it again!

The departure point was easy to locate. Boarding went smoothly. Adequate seating both inside and on deck. Captain gave narration but not constant so you could peacefully enjoy the cruise. Unfortunately, our cruise had a bachelor and bachelorette party on board, so they were somewhat loud. Cruise is geared more toward a relaxed environment. Food and drink available. Enjoyed sunset cannon at the USS Constitution and beautiful Boston skyline.

Hello from Oregon, our son and his family live in Lynn and we struggle to find fun family Christmas gifts. Can we purchase $100.00 gift card or such that they could apply to this later in the year?
