A small but pretty cove bordered by shade giving palm trees.
Beautiful and tranquil early in the morning and after 5 pm but often ruined during the day by up to 4 catamarans arriving with up to 60 people on each who come here to swim, snorkel and walk the beach.
The boats sound their horns long and loud on arrival and departure plus often a lot of screaming.
Just as one leaves often another is arriving.
How many come on any given day is dependent on how many and how big the cruise liners are that dock in Castries.
Not as quiet and ideal as it’s often portrayed.

Super snorkeling sur l île de Sainte Lucie. L accès se fait par TY KAYE. On ne paye pas. La route un peu chaoteuse. Le spectacle est magnifique. Il faut aller du côté droite de la plage. Nous avons vu des calamars, des murènes ,de belles gorgone, poissons trompettes, poissons coffres, et différents poissons tropicaux.

We stopped at this beach on a boat trip. It is a very pretty, dark sand beach. The snorkeling was very nice. There are quit a few vendors (including in the water) that are a bit annoying. I would have liked to spend the day.

A great healthy reef for snorkelling and scuba diving. I did both during my trip and each provided me with a different experience. Lots of colourful fish, healthy coral and calm waters. If you go, take good care of it!

The south end has umbrellas/chairs for Ti Kaye resort, but also blue chairs if you're not staying there. You can rent water floaters and kayaks and boards. There's a waterfront restaurant at the very south end open until mid-afternoon; evening dining is up top. The water was warm if you were moving around, waves not big or strong. Some palms for shade...unclear if there were umbrellas for rent if you weren't staying at the resort. We really enjoyed being at a beach where nobody was trying to sell us anything!
To get here, on the main road (whose name I cannot get out of Google) at the top of the hill there is a big Ti Kaye sign. Go on in. At the bottom of a hill there is a sharp left hairpin, with a dirt road going straight ahead. That appears to be the local route direct to the beach. But if it looks muddy, go left around the hairpin and eventually you get to the Ti Kaye gate. We asked if there was food and drink and the guard said yes, let us in, pointed us to make a sharp right hairpin around the guard shack, then a sharp left hairpain and down a STEEP road to the beach where there was lots of room to park.

I we landed here on a catamaran for snorkeling, not much to see but a few colored fish and yellow tubed coral, but the beach is good, dark sands, spent an hr here.

Very good beach, overlooked by a fancy resort. Very warm and crustal clear sea. Shortcoming here is the tiny beach strip, almost fully controlled by the resort. Still a great place to be at.

We visited this beautiful beach today and love it very much. We were greeted by security guard and he offered free beach chairs. Lady from restaurant asked us if we wanted anything.
Beach was beautiful, snorkelling was great. Lunch at restaurant was very good too.

We stayed at Ti Kaye Resort and Spa for a week and had the beach nearly all to ourselves most of the time. The beach is beautiful, the water is beautiful, the beachside restaurant (Ti Manje) is wonderful, and the sunsets were perfection!

Stopped here for a very short snorkel stop while on a boat trip.Due to Covid we weren't allowed on the beach which didn't bother us as we were keen to get in the water .My husband and I are keen snorkellers and have been all over the world. The water was calm and clear but there really wasn't very much to see.If this is the best snorkelling on offer in St Lucia would choose another island if snorkelling is a main activity for your holiday

We are renting a van to get to the beach, can a van handle the road to Anse Cochon? We are also coming with my father who is 84 and can't do a lot of stairs, are there stairs or a path down to the beach from the public parking? Also, how long of a walk is it from the parking lot?

We litterally just got back from here. We rented a car, a sedan, and made it barely. There is about a 2 mile stretch of really crappy roads. Once you get to the reception area, where we parked there are about 190 steps down to the beach. The snorkeling there was in my opinion not worth it. On a scale of 1-10, it was a three. I wouldn’t go back unless by boat. We did have a nice afternoon there but it’s a shame about the road.

Thanks for your reply. Thanks for letting me know about the road. Did your rental car company give you a good map of the island? Should we bring a map? I read somewhere else that from the resort you can drive down to the Beach Bar and avoid the resort steps. Do you think that's possible? Thanks again for your help.
