Round trip from Airport to Garden Suites in Punts Cana

The pickup was great and puntual. The driver had our name on the board the walk was short to the AC unit van. He provided instructions and guidance on the way to the resort. The drop off at the airport was as the great as the pickup.

El hotel me parece increíble, precioso está a 20 minutos del aeropuerto de Punta Cana , pagas 30 dólares el taxi la atención en el hotel es increíble, los chicos del staff van hacer de tus días los mejores la comida en los restaurantes no es muy buena pero quiero agradecerle especialmente a Paulino y Willy ellos hicieron de mis días fueran maravillosos , Paulino hace el mejor pollo frito del mundo si vienes a este hotel no olvides pasar por el área de playa ahí está el señor Paulino el olor de su pollo frito seguro te atrae.

SIN LLEGAR A BARCEL BAVARO PALACE NO GOOD EXPERIENCE

Sin haber llegado aun a mis vacacione al Barcelo Bavaro Palace en Punta Cana ya tuve hoy Novie,bre 28 mi primera mala experiencia.
Somos un grupo de 15 personas en familia que llegaremos manana Noviemnre 29.
Para una pareja familiar procedente de Colombia los cuales son mis invitados, les pague la reservacion por un 50%, ellos llegaran Nov 29 al medio dia pero nostros llegaremos solo hasta las 8:00 PM.

Del hotel les enviaron mensaje a mis invitados diciendoles que al llegar deben presentar la tarjeta de credito con la cual se hizo la reserva para poder accer al check-in de lo contrario cancelan la reserva y me regresan el dinero.

Hoy Nov 28 llame y hable como con 4 personas para pagar el saldo y nadie soluciona nada, solo dicen que son las normas del hotel y que solo puede acceder a registracion cuando se presente la Credit Card con la que se hizo la reserva.

Se imaginan que nosotros por alguna razon no podamos llegar?

Nadie me quizo transferir la llamada a un superior para buscar una solucion.

Al final me colgaron el telefono sin ninguna solucion.

Si alguien lee espe mensaje y me puede ayudar para que mis invitados se sientan bien tratados y no tengan que sentarse en el lobby hasta que yo llegue para que vean mi credit card y poder pagar el saldo restante.

Pueden imaginar semejante decortesia?

Let me start by saying the grounds are beautiful! Nice pools and beach !
Rooms horrible . Tarnished bathroom fixtures and old looking . We had a garden view and it literally was on the side of a road in dirt . We complained and they didn’t do anything to help us out. The bars were constantly running out of alcohol and wine .
Staff ok but not great ! One town station at beach that you had to walk far to get!
I wouldn’t recommend!
Totally dissatisfied !

Le service était excellent. Bon choix d'alcool (Absolute Vodka, Bombay Gin, Bacardi Rhum). La nourriture y ai excellente. Nous aurions pris un petit peu plus de musique latine. Mais sinon nous sommes très heureux de nos vacances et désirons y retourner.

I recommend another resort, we did a honeymoon trip and they gave us the wrong room, they diddnt decorate it like we asked. We did dinner on the beach but they cancled it because of the rain. It was no alternative option. The resort is over priced, our tour guide helped us a lot. But that was the only reason. I would get a refund if I could. The Wi-Fi went out for a whole day. You can’t use the water to brush your teeth

Very disappointed
I know this is listed as a party hotel but loud music is really relentless, so the tiny beach area is over crowded and requires early rise to get a spot. Food in buffet is bland. The curry house on site is a joke, well it is to any self respecting british. Steak house is fine, haven't tried others yet.Rooms are ok but stairs and communal area remind of an communist hotel i visited many years ago.also took over an hour to get missing bath towels from room service-appalling, despite 4 phone calls.good luck round the pools,reminds me of love island on speed.although not their fault,waves on beach are dangerously strong. Anyone over 40,steer clear

Mr. Oliver at Portofino restaurant was amazing. Excellent service and food. He was very attentive to our needs. We are a family of 6 with 4 young children.
