I’m not sure there is an age restriction, but each person is required to wear a hard hat. Also, it is not very accessible for strollers, as there are steps and bumpy terrain. There were children on our tour, but they were older and able to walk the caves independently. Enjoy your trip!

Some places inside the cave are really dark...if your children arent scared of dark I think they can go... always holding their hands

The tour is about 45 minutes to an hour of walking. At one point, you descend over 60 steps to an underground grotto. Most of the terrain has been worn smooth, however, as I stated above, there is a lot of walking, ducking under overhangs, etc. Plus, there aren't very many handrails. It's a great attraction; it is just very physical.

There was a large one at the bottom of the stairs. I have a bad knee and went back up those stairs at a record pace. Once we got out our friends and our driver told me about the snakes on the ceiling. They saw several snakes but kept quiet because of not wanting to scare anyone. It was very interesting and there are no poisonous snakes in Jamaica, so I've been told. Unless you totally freak out about snakes, like me, you'll be fine. I still went knowing the possibility.
