The tour was somewhat informative but it lacked in excitement. I probably expected to much but 90% of the excursion was spent in a taxi van with poor air conditioning. The guide was knowledgeable with a good personality but for $240+tip you can decide.

I am sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations,, I have never ever had any complaints about the AC , however , will look into it

York was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable, funny and great storyteller! He told us that the tour would be memorable and he delivered!! He took us to Timothy Hill for a breathtaking view, as we drove to Turtle Beach he made a few stops and pointed out landmarks with a story to signify it's importance. He made sure we were taken care of by Ken David at the Reggae Beach Bar. We spent a good 2 hours there soaking in the sun and delicious drinks!! York returned to take us back to the port but before dropping us off took us to a secluded spot where we saw mongoose and wild monkeys!! That was the icing on the cake!! We were fortunate enough to land such a great tour guide. Ask for York and you won't be disappointed!!

I cannot say enough about our amazing experience with Chris. We were on Icon of the Seas and booked this tour as all the good excursions with Royal Caribbean were booked. This turned out to be by far the best experience of our entire cruise, including other shore excursions with Royal Caribbean at other ports. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining and personable. We learned about and saw the entire island in just a few hours. On all of the other Royal Caribbean excursions we we felt like cattle being herded around in large busses with terrible tour guides. With Chris we were in a nice van with just our family and an incredible guide! A truly wonderful experience.

This was a wonderful way to see the Island! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to several interesting sites in his clean/comfortable van.

We went with Edmund York he said he would take us round St Kitts the whole experience was wonderful . We went round the main town and he was so informative polite lovely clean taxi and then out into country along by the sea and finally up to the viewpoint where you can see the Caribbean and the Atlantic took photos and waited for us . He said he would give us 2 hour trip but was over half an hour longer and he was charging 60 usd but we were so please my husband gave him a 20 dollar tip. Well worth it and he was such a gentleman it really made our trip for the day and we will always remember it he gave us his card and have been meaning to put a review on but could not find card I had put it in a drawer and found it today . Would always go with him again when we return to St Kitts

Lynn’s Taxi and Tour Service was run by Lynn and her team consisting of Belle, Kenny, and Kelvin were amazing. From the rainforest hike to running us from restaurants to beaches and arranging a trip to Nevis. Everything was taken care of. No complaints and peace of mind. 10/10 highly recommend. Call Lynn DeGuire!

We highly recommend "York". Wery likable, friendly and dependable taxi driver. In addition to efficient transport, he provided us with an interesting story about St.Kitts (St.Christopher) and ended the whole thing with funny jokes. Thank You and best regards from Poland. Used her service for transfers between the airport and our lodging. The drivers were very pleasant and safe, but her prices turned out to be 50% more expensive than alternatives that we learned about later. The biggest issue was communications: We had to be very pro-active in reaching out to her to confirm pick-up, flights, etc. I had questions that she overlooked and never did answer. Probably would not use this service again unless the price becomes more in line with other services.

Got robbed of a couple round trip tickets by Omari on the service. Didnt come to pick us up despite full payment for round trip. Nearly missed cruise and had to call and delay entire ship. Tried to rectify with members of the team who couldnt get a hold of Omari, but passed me off and off until the final boss of the terrible video game who had a LINEUP of people in similar circumstances to me. Didnt get money back, had to pay extra for emergency transport to the ship, delayed my ship, and didnt so much as get to make my case. All in all, worst service ever. Stay away and walk.

When you go to St. Kitts, find Lynn and let her be your personal guide!
We visited St. Kitts and Nevis (SKN) for the first time in 2023, and had a great time, due in HUGE part to the GRACIOUS Lynn, who drove is everywhere and who served as a welcoming tour guiding and ambassador.
In preparing for our trip, my wonderful wide found an online group for people staying at the Marriott St. Kitts Beach Club. Many of them highly recommended Lynn and for good reason - she picks you up, gets you acclimated, and then is willing to be your one-stop tour guide for your entire trip. Lynn is awesome!
Lynn made sure we:
- found great snorkeling… seeing our first starfish, our first seeing spotted stingrays flying underwater, and following sea turtles… amazing! and both Reggae Beach and Shipwreck Beach have open-air restaurants that both serve good food.
- toured the island and learned about St. Kitts, seeing Wingfield Estate - owned by Thomas Jefferson’s great grandfather, with its own sugar cane and rum distillery (Old Road Rum), visiting Brimstone Hill Fortress - an English fort that is now a UNESCO World Heritage site, seeing other towns, getting BBQ from Alex’s grill, and more
- had rides to restaurants
- had a ride to the cinema for a movie
- had a ride to a doctor
Lynn “kept a running tab” during our trip and we paid her as she dropped us off at the airport for our flight home.
We will DEFINITELY call Lynn on our next trip to St. Kitts.

Do you need to reserve the taxi in advance?
Fares from the cruise port to Brimstone Fortess (45/60 min visit) then to South Friar's beach for a swin (about 90/120 mins) and back to Basseterre town . The taxi does not need to wait for us. We will be a partu of 2.

Regarding the private island tour-
Our ship arrives at 8:00 and departs at 5:00. Does tour pick up from cruise port and drop off there? Will we be done with the tour by 2:00? Will we have other tourists with us? Is tour in a taxi or a van? Thank you.
