Very interesting!

Great tour and very interesting stories about this locally historical person! This is absolutely worth going to especially if you have a young people with you. The kitchen and bedrooms and interesting.

Couldn't go in despite being there midday. Very annoying since we went out of our way to go there. Not even info outside to read. We had to resort to Wikipedia.

A must in the area.

We were glad this was opened. I find that Ontario Parks was able to get a lot out of that historic house, and uses it to teach all visitors about Laura Secord, but also about her time, her place as a woman of her time, the war of course, and settlers relationship with indigenous inhabitants.

They have good and interesting artefacts.

Please drop by, you'll enjoy.

A fascinating time capsule

The history of Laura Secord and the homestead are very well presented. The story of the family, and how they were swept up in the War of 1812, brings the war down to a very personal level. A recommended stop in the area.

The battle between the States and Canadians.

We went to see the Laura Secord Homestead

We will learn a lot of Laura Secord Homestead.

Her husband was injured.

When she heard that the Americans were going to fight in our country, Laura went early in the morning that the Americans were going to attack Canada.

Laura saved Canada. The soldiers were there thanks to Secord.

Great Place for a tour!

We visited here 10 years ago and enjoyethe house of Laura Secord and had some nice ice cream too. Nice old fashioned setting with lovely house around and a quaint church too!

Interesting visit!

We had previously stopped at this museum while en route a year ago to Niagara Falls and it was closed; we were pleased to see that it was open (with covid19 protocols) this week when we drove by. It highlights an important era in Canadian history, and we learned a lot in the short visit. Tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and as we were the only ones going through at the time he was able to answer lots of questions. Worth the visit when you are in the area!
