K took my wife on an Etna Mountain tour as a special birthday gift, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience! Our guide was exceptional—natively from Sicily, he shared so much more than just the fascinating history of Mount Etna. He took us deeper into the heart of Sicilian culture, talking about local traditions, food, and the way of life on this beautiful island. His passion for his homeland really shone through, making the whole experience even more meaningful. The views from the mountain were breathtaking, and the knowledge shared made the journey truly enriching. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sicily!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, caves, and hike. We learned so much about the region and the volcano. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enjoyable and informative Etna adventure.

Nice half-day excursion in beautiful weather. Sun and snow in black volcanic sand with a wonderful view as far as Malta.
You can tell that our guide Iorgi loves his country. Good explanations and lots of fun.
Pick up and drop off from the hotel. Well organized. Highly recommended.

Elia, our guide, was super professional and very kind. Perfect organization. Etna is spectacular, but above all with such a competent guide it remains a carefree and memorable experience at the same time.

Our family of 14 took two tours - one to Mt Etna and one to a winery. Both tours were excellent and adventurous. The guide was knowledgeable and was very capable. I would highly recommend this company.

Leonardo very nice and well prepared, precise exposure, excellent explanations in both English and Italian... effective tour organization (they picked us up at the hotel and brought us back at the end of the excursion) ... overall very positive experience!!

This was a trip which was a highlight of our Catania trip. The guide was humble, caring and clearly knowledgeable about the geology of the area. The whole excursion was fun. Wholeheartedly recommend to any visors to the Catania area.

Trip not planned at the beginning of the trip, then for a series of positive inconveniences I would say, we met this guy who is a tour guide who made us run around on the slopes of Mount Etna. Never experience more wonderful. Thank you Alessandro

Great experience. Our tour guide did a wonderful job telling us about the area. The hike was a good pace with beautiful views. I recommend this adventure for those who want to experience Mt. Etna for part of a day.

We had a beautiful all day hiking trip with Elia. Everything was great,and although we had a quite windy day, it just added a plus to the experience.
So if you are keen on hiking, and maybe you want to discover the hidden/less known trails (and treasures) of Etna with a professional guide, I would 100% recommend this excursion :)

Buonasera, vorrei prenotare una escursione mattutina sull Etna per due adulti, soggiornerò in un hotel a Giardini Naxos. È possibile essere prelevati dall'hotel da una vostro mezzo e di conseguenza essere riaccompagnati alla fine del tour, poiché privi di un mezzo proprio? Grazie

Buongiorno,

Certamente i nostri tour sono effettuabili tutto l'anno poiché arriviamo al massimo ad un'altezza di 2100 mt quindi in totale sicurezza.
Potete tranquillamente prenotare avendo diritto al 100% di rimborso fino a 24h prima della data del tour.
Ovviamente salvo nuove disposizioni DPCM .

I recently booked a tour of Etna for next month and I'm wondering if it's possible to use a drone on the mountain to take some photos. Are we staying enough time in some of the key locations so I can fly the drone? Is this something that other people did on this tour? Thanks in advance, Florin

Hi, would you say this is a hike up the mountain or more like stop, walk-around take photos at stops as you move up the mountain?

Hello Kalaida,many thanks for your question.
We have different types of excursions with different schedules. All the excursions start from Catania with our means of transports (jeeps or minivans), during the way to reach the area of our trekking we do several stops around the volcano to observe many aspects.
In the most popular excursions which is Morning Excursions, we go trekking about 1hour around ancient craters, then by car we reach a lava flow cave where we explore with helmets and torch lights a part of it, finally again by car we reach the East slope of Etna to reach a perfect point for an amazing panoramic view of the Bove Valley, the most important the Valley on the volcano.
