My wife and I toured with Robert all across Rioja, and it was a truly exceptional experience. The strong relationships that he and Rebeca have established with the local winemakers translated into an incredible and unique experience, complete with grapes off the vine, a canine vineyard companion, and of course spectacular wine!

Rebeca was AMAZING! Her energy and knowledge for the area made the entire day not just fun, but truly a joy. We never felt like the "tour" was tedious - we felt like her friends and just spending a day walking around tasting and talking wine. Going to Napa every year as well as Portugal for many wine tastings , this is one of the few times we actually felt like we were learning true cultural information and took away a lot of very interesting facts about eth region. I would 100% recommend Rebeca to anyone who wants to experience La Rioja

Nos encanto poder hacer este tour y poder compartir de forma mas intima con las diferentes casas de los vinos y sus dueños. Eran otros tipos de wine tastings que nunca habíamos hecho antes. Tremenda experiencia!!

My husband and I had half day tour and it was truely amazing. Robert picked us from the station and took us to two wonderful wineries. One of them was a modern one and the other one was from the ancient times and it was great for us to experience both wineries. Thanks very much once more for this great experience. I highly recommend this trip.

My partner and I took a full-day Rioja Like A Native Tour wine tour with Robert while in Rioja for my birthday in June 2022. The tour was fantastic; we went to 3 wineries, all of which were incredibly unique and provided an opportunity to talk to the wine makers and try some world class wines. We would never have found these vineyards on our own, and feel very grateful that we got to see them on the tour! Robert is a wonderful guide - personable, knowledgeable, and well organized. We had a delicious lunch mid-day and got to see much of the countryside by car. If you like good wine and exploring new places, I cannot recommend this highly enough!

My husband and I had a fabulous full day wine tour with Robert. We visited three wineries and learned so much about each, as well as the region in general. We had very little knowledge about wineries in the Rioja region so welcomed all suggestions and they could not have been better. Highly recommend!

My husband & I on a recommendation of some friends, booked Rebecca & her company, La Rioja Like a Native Wine Tour. Rebecca was knowledgable, spoke beautiful English & took us to three very unique wineries in Rioja. Each winery poured amazing wines & had the most interesting architecture (a side benefit of the tour). At one of the wineries, she had arranged for a multi course Lunch for us which was prepared by the Mother of the Winemaker! The entire day was wonderful, educational & a lot of fun. I highly recommend Rebecca & La Rioja Like a Native Wine Tours.

Wonderful experience. We prefer private tours instead of large groups so it was just our group of three people. Rebecca catered to our every request and put together an unforgettable experience with our input and winery preferences. Jose was our guide for the day and was both fun and educational. We visited two wineries, had an amazing lunch, and stopped by one of our favorite larger wineries for a quick glass of wine to top the afternoon off. We will definitely reach out to Rebecca the next time we are in that part of the world for another amazing adventure!

What is the region like on a Sunday? We are in the early stages of planning our itinerary for our 2020 Spain vacation and my current timeline has us arriving in the area on a Saturday meaning our first full day would be a Sunday. Is there a good number of wineries open on a Sunday?

Not sure. We got to Logroño on Monday and spent Sunday in Madrid. There was still a lot to do but many places were still closed. We went to Botín (the oldest restaurant in the world) visited the Prado and saw a Flamenco show. But as far as the happenings in Rioja, I really couldn't say. Rebeca would definitely know so I would shoot her an email. Let her know when you will be arriving and what you're interested in doing while you're there and she'll help you with the itinerary.
