Alessandro’s tour was absolutely fantastic - the perfect introduction to the Eternal City. Our hunky tour guide made us feel like locals in minutes while teaching us all about the history, customs and hidden gems of Rome. This is an extremely informative, fun and intimate tour that we couldn’t more highly recommend! Be prepared to be surprised, enlightened and quizzed on your fun Roman facts! This was a super pleasant / informative evening walking tour. Rome at night is less hot/crowded, and possibly even more stunning than during the day time. The lighting on the monuments really highlights the scale and grandeur of each structure.
Lucio was super friendly, knowledgeable, and an overall great guy. He answered my (many) questions about Roman history as well as Rome the city itself.

This is the coolest thing we did in Rome.
The bike tour was a refreshing change of pace from the city, and allowed us to see many sights that are not easily accessible by foot. Dimitri was an A+ guide and an overall great guy. We learned a lot about the Romans and Roman life, in addition to getting fresh air, a nice workout and some great photos.
The Appian Way was a big highlight. All roads eventually led to Rome, but this road was the very first.
Via Appia Antica is not only historical but also exceedingly beautiful. We passed through several monumental Roman residences and catacombs, against the backdrop of open fields and rolling hills in the distance. It is no wonder many of the Roman elites chose to live outside the city. We even ran into a herd of goats!
We had such a great time we ended up spending longer at each stop than planned. Dimitri was super cool, and helped us take lots of pictures and videos.
The biking itself was not difficult, even with the occasional dirt path. You will not be tired, but will definitely cover enough distance to feel accomplished.
Highly recommend!

Realmente este tour es increíble y distinto a todos los que he realizado. Tiene el condimento de poder conocer la Vía Antica, importantes acueductos, distintos parques donde el Romano disfruta de sus pasatiempos y una travesía en bici por las afueras de Roma que no se puede creer. Además tener de guía a Lucio es un lujo, no solo por la amabilidad sino por la buena predisposición que siempre ha tenido en el tour. Excelente tour. Altamente recomendable!! Felicitaciones!!

We took the free walking tour with Nick and loved it. He was the best tour guide for our entire trip to Italy. He was clear, gave great information, answered questions, and projected well in louder locations. I would recommend taking any tours they offer. We wish we had time to take more tour from their group.

We had a free daytime walking tour during the first day of our stay in Rome. I strongly recommend taking it early on during your stay, as you will learn a lot and experience and feel Rome much better.
Our guide was Lucio. He was knowledgeable and we learned a lot about Rome's history, architecture, and art.
He adjusted his style based on our interests and questions we asked. Don't hesitate to ask questions, you will learn a lot more that way and help your guide personalize the experience according to your needs.
The pace was right. We head a timely break for snack and/or gelato. It took us 3 hours to cover everything that was planned, and that's approximately half of the historical center, mostly the western one.

A brilliant experience with Allessandro our guide! We had a brilliant, very informative tour today. Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had. Very highly recommended. I would do this tour on your first day as it helps to then plan the rest of your Rome holiday.

We did this tour on our last day in Rome and it was a nice way to end our visit. We saw areas that we'd had not visited either on this visit or in previous ones. Unfortunately, we had to leave the tour early, but Dmitri was great and ensured we left the tour at the right time and location to make our return to the airport.

היה בעל ידע נרחב בהיסטוריה של רומא, מאוד נחמד, סבלני ומעניין. בנוסף היינו הזוג היחיד שנרשם כך שזכינו להדרכה פרטית.
לבסוף קיבלנו המלצות למסעדות, נקודות תצפית ומקומות מעניינים להמשך לאחר הסיור.

More talking than walking. We still cover approximately 3km of walking distance within 3 hours. A 15 minute gelato break half way through. Hope this info gives you an idea.

The same with Lucio.....the tour ended near Castel Sant Angelo (I think the afternoon tour ends there all the time, according to their web site). Fabulous tour! It was one of the best highlights of our Rome stay.

Book ahead online. Whilst the tour is free I would encourage you to tip. The wealth of knowledge and interaction from the guides is great and worth paying for. Tip what you feel appropriate - I gave 20 euros (for two of us).
