Didattico e multimediale.

Questa mattina, avendo un po' di tempo a disposizione, ho visitato questo museo, una visita che rinviavo da anni. Il museo non espone niente di particolarmente interessante dal punto di vista storico o museale, salvo qualche raro quadro importante. Il percorso si incentra soprattutto sulla storia della città raccontata attraverso pannelli illustrativi impeccabili. Dovrebbe essere pieno di scolaresche cittadine e invece stamattina non c'era nessuno. Ci sono anche percorsi in 3D ai quali ho rinunciato per mancanza di tempo (e per raggiunti miei limiti di età).

Very interesting and well thought out account of the history of this amazing city. We paid extra for a virtual reality experience which was ok but the headsets were uncomfortable and kept falling off.

Nice surprise

The museum was a really nice surprise, with loads of interactive components that went through the history of Bologna in a really interesting way.
There was a virtual reality experience about different periods of the history of Bologna, which was quite fun.

Modernes und interessantes Museum

Modernes Museum in einem historischen Gebäude. In über 30 Räumen werden die wichtigsten Ereignisse und Persönlichkeiten aus der Geschichte Bolognas vorgestellt. Hierbei wechseln sich Fotos, Gemälde, Texte, interaktive Elemente und ein 3D-Film ab. Die Beschriftungen sind nur auf Italienisch vorhanden, dank eines empfehlenswerten und inkludierten Audioguides in englischer Sprache ist das Museum jedoch auch für Ausländer geeignet. In deutscher Sprache gibt es nur sehr kurz gefasste Infoblätter für jeden Raum der Ausstellung.
Der Eintritt kostet regulär 13 €, mit der empfehlenswert und Bologna Welcome Card ist der Eintritt aber frei. Ich habe insgesamt knapp 2 Stunden in dem Museum verbracht. Eine Cafeteria ist vorhanden, war zur Zeit meines Besuchs aber geschlossen.

Really not worth a visit

This large space has very little in it apart from display boards and reproductions of art works. Exhibit text is all in (not unreasonably) Italian. The problem is that the English audio guide is dull, dull, dull.

Almost no information in english. All you get is a brief summary on a piece of laminated paper. If you are interested in history, but don't speal italian - just use google instead. The staff are bored and just don't care. 13 € entrance is NOT worth it.

Went on this visit, despite high price of €12 entry. It does tell you history, but the english audio guide pretty useless and little in each room, they make it look more than is. Was annoyed that when we went to Pinacoteca Nationale de Bologna Art Gallery, you get free entry to this exhibit!! The entry to Pinacoteca is €6

Ce musée est cher 13€ par personne et assez ennuyeux. C’est long et il faut être vraiment passionné d’histoire pour aller le visiter. Surtout pas adapté aux enfants qui à mon avis vont vite vouloir sortir. On vous donne un dictaphone avec des explications en français des pièces que vous traversez…mais au bout de la 15eme…et il y en a environ 30…. Bref je recommande uniquement aux personnes très motivées et amoureuses de l’histoire.

Do not visit if you don’t genuinely LOVE history and have less then 3hours to spent there

This may be an excellent museum for someone who is really into history, have at least 3-4hours to spent here and understand Italian, because all the information are written only in Italian. If you are a foreigner it is absolutely pointless to go there without listening to the audio guide all the time. It is definitely not a museum I would visit with children or actually anyone who isn’t genuinely interested in Bologna’s history.
