Our trip to Florence would not have been anywhere near as enjoyable without the private tours we booked with Fadi. He was very easy to work with to arrange tours that fit our schedule and interests. We spent 2 half-days doing walking tours through Florence - visiting notable sites and museums. Fadi is EXTREMELY knowledgeable of the city, the art, and the history. It was nice to not have to worry about maps to navigate the city and lines at the museums, etc. Fadi took care of everything. We also spent a full day with Fadi on a tour to Riomaggiore / Cinque Terre and neighboring points of interest. He had all the right contacts, recommendations, etc. to make the most of our time there. I highly recommend you book Fadi if you are a first-time visitor to Florence - or if you want a unique experience completely tailored to you. Myself, my husband, and our 24 year-old son all had an amazing time!! Thank you so much, Fadi!!

I had picked this touring company after reading rave reviews about Fadi on the internet. We have invested in private tours in the great cities we have been to in recent years. They are expensive but worth it - save on a fancy meal and take a personal tour instead would be our advice! From my first show of interest in his tour Fadi was a fantastic help - replying to any queries promptly and efficiently including one about a possible member of our tour bowing out post surgery - not to worry Fadi could supply a wheelchair! So I am delighted to report that in person he was even better than we expected. Fadi is an architect, graphic designer and multi linguist. His English was impeccable - he had no trouble deciphering our Irish accents. Fadi came to study in Florence and has stayed and is by now a local - we bumped into many of his friends during the day. He knows Florence like the back of his hand. He was extremely courteous, knowledgable and entertaining with a walking tour in the morning and Uffizi gallery tour in the afternoon. I can say that he taught me more in the day about history of art and what makes a masterpiece than in my A level history of art. I thought my teenage daughters would be bored but they really enjoyed Fadis fun stories about the buildings and artworks. The intrigues and scandals behind famous pieces of work that brought them even more alive. Fadi was great at taking time for us to rest with coffees, gelatos, lunch etc as needed. Fadi is a gentleman - I hope to be back in Tuscany very soon and I look forward to going on another of his wonderful tours in future. Thank you. The Fogarty family

We did a private tour of the Uffuzi gallery with Fadi and couldn't recommend him more highly. He was passionate, extremely knowledgable, and very engaging - he taught us about the art in a way that made it entertaining, while also being extremely detailed. While the tour is expensive, it is worth every penny and made our trip to Florence that much more worth it - it was a true highlight!

We booked a tour with Fadi for our entire family which was 18 people ranging from 12 to 80. While planning our trip Fadi was extremely helpful, answering my many questions almost immediately.
Our group was big, but Fadi did a great job. Looking at the paintings in the museums was great, but it paled in comparison to Fadi's stories behind the paintings and the meanings and symbolism. He had unlimited energy which kept our large group entertained and enthused. He worked hard to make sure each of us was happy. He even took us to fine leather stores and shops that the teens liked, and for the non shoppers gelato and big buckets of wine.

Fadi was a great tour guide. He met me at the hotel where I was staying and we toured the Accademia and Uffizi Galleries and completed the tour by lunch time. He knew an incredible amount of information about the art work including historical significance as well a technical perspective since he has a background in design (graphic art and architecture). Overall it was a fantastic day. We were able to see a lot but I never felt rushed or like we were "cramming it in."

Fadi ci ha accompagnato in una visita approfondita e puntuale nell' arte rinascimentale. Super disponibile, attento e preparatissimo ci ha fatto fare un salto indietro di secoli...Posso dire che in lui è vivo l' amore vero per l'arte e per la città di Firenze. Può suggerire luoghi di interesse culturale ed enogastronomico essendo fiorentino di adozione da diversi anni ormai. Consigliatissimo !

My husband and I live in Toronto Canada and spent a day with Fadi in Florence during a recent two week holiday in Italy. Fadi met us at our hotel in the morning (he was early) and we spent the day with him showing us this amazing city. Fadi is so knowledgeable and knows the city completely. We learned so much about the attractions and the history and the sequence of the day was perfect. We completely enjoyed our day with him. If you are looking for a wonderful guide in a wonderful city, do not hesitate to book a tour with Fadi. Thanks Fadi for being such an amazing part of our trip. John and Rob

We just returned from Florenece and hired Fadi as a private tour guide to take us all around the city. Since we only had four days we really wanted to maximize our experience. What a great job he did by bringing the city to life through its many historical sights. His enthusiasm for his city is second to none and if you aren't a history aficionado before you meet Fadi and tour Florence you definitely will be after! Thank you so much for sharing your passion and love of Florenece.

We recently took 5 tours in Florence with Bernardo. Each tour was between 2-3 hours long. Bernardo not only explains the art, but places it to the political and social context of the time. We left each tour with an enhanced appreciation and a real desire to learn more about the Renaissance and the city of Florence.
