- Shuttle service with drivers in chaos. In the morning we were taken by the free shuttle from the Cugno car park to the market area, well away from the center (more than 1 km uphill walk: the alternative was private cars at 3 EURO per person).
We had been told that to then go to the Valley for lunch, another shuttle, still in the market area, would take us to the temples but when we returned, the driver, after a couple of phone calls, told us that it wasn't he knew if he had to stop at the temples and therefore it was better to go there on foot. We took the next shuttle without asking anymore and crossing our fingers, but others instead heeded the driver's advice and walked down (another 1.5 km or so). Equally absurd was leaving the valley of the temples and returning to Cugno at the end of the show: packed shuttles forced not to even stop at all the stops, leaving people there waiting. In the meantime, other city buses pick up people without asking them where they have to go, so many have paid a city bus ticket to find themselves at Piazzale Rosselli instead of the Cugno car park, that is, in a completely different part of the city.
Never seen such a confusing situation in my life.
- Few and dirty bathrooms both in the parade area and in the Valley; normally in the Valley there are only 2 bathrooms, one in the Temple of Jupiter area and the other in the little bar after the Concordia which is already hilarious, given the enormous influx of tourists all year round. However, for the almond tree festival, a dozen (very dirty) chemical toilets were added near the Concordia. Wow. What an effort.
- Viale della Vittoria armored, underpasses closed: anyone who needs to take the train or move to reach the shuttle stops remains blocked until the end of the parade (practically even until 3.00 pm). Non-existent escape routes.
- entry to the Valley scheduled for 2.00 pm but they made us wait under the sun for half an hour (we had bought tickets in advance for 7 euros). In the meantime, a pass from the organization's staff along with an entry ticket for a boy and I presume his girlfriend were passed over our heads, letting them both in while the rest of us were left waiting for a while longer. . Screams and protests from those present rightly broke out, left there like fools under the sun.
How disgusting.

Unworthy organization. Chemical toilets (I only saw 4 for a few thousand people) filthy and inaccessible. Invisible show due to the crowd and lack of space. Disastrous experience. Luckily we didn't have any children.........

...if you organize events next year for the 2025 capital of culture like you organized the show at the Temple of Concordia for the almond tree in bloom, forget it...you will make the whole of Italy look bad.

Reading the reviews from previous years, it makes me even more angry, because after all these years it really means that the organizers don't understand anything!!!
It's the first time I've participated in this festival, with a lot of preparations and expectations, since I come from the north.
Total chaos... we were kept under the sun for 2 and a half hours.... until we forced the Concordia gate to prevent cars from passing..... and then I was told to stay in my house in the north... here is the much-vaunted welcome for tourists in the south.... fortunately not everyone is like that!!!.. Even in the valley of the temples, in front of the stage no one to organize people to sit on the walls or on the floor, so that everyone could see the show... but in the end we all had to get up to be able to see, amidst the insults and total nervousness of all the people who were trying to make do as best they could. The festival is beautiful...it's a shame, but a real shame for the disorganization and the lack of respect for the spectators who spent money for this event... it is certainly an experience that I will never have again and I strongly advise against it.... watch them parade along the streets of Agrigento,,,"much "better!!!...and cheaper!

A day full of expectations and a wonderful sun, unfortunately ruined by the shameful organization of an event that was well advertised, but disappointing in the result: a two-hour queue under the sun, squeezed in a crowd of people, obviously nervous, to enter and then not being able to see nothing! In fact, the stage mounted in front of the temple of concord was visible only to the privileged few in the front row. All the others had no choice but to watch a totally invisible show, pressed in like sardines, "listening" to the folkloric music and the lack of irony of the presenters

It was a negative experience!!...it's a shame because it could be an event of notable international appeal, but the city was not able to manage the event. Public transport in total chaos, waiting for hours for public transport (taxis worked perfectly, who knows why 🤔), bus drivers in total confusion (poor things too) without any directives, people under the sun waiting for hours at the entrance of the valley due to incorrect organisation, at the beginning you only entered from the Juno entrance and then realized that it was not possible to contain all these people and decided to open the other entrances too, free shuttle bus, true, but overflowing and I stop here....
An event of this visibility needs impeccable organization and this year that was not the case. Sin or shame?

An advice to the organizers of the Almond Blossom of Agrigento, get out of Agrigento and go and see what and how they organize similar events. I'm not talking about abroad but also northern Italy or the various concerts of famous singers, etc., gain experience on how to welcome and direct the crowd of people. like today 17/03 to enter the temples I have not seen such a serious inefficiency and very messy everything plus the chemical toilets too much and also exaggeratedly dirty who knows maybe a nice event will become even more beautiful

Terrible organisation, after four hours on the road and an hour in line under the sun the staff came out that there had been no tickets for two hours, a well organized event I think that before having the vehicles parked, let them do 2 km walk to reach the ticket office, have them queue for an hour, warn them that there are no more tickets (perhaps with a sign). One thing is certain, you have lost many tourists and certainly us too!

Pessima esperienza!
Totale disorganizzazione…. Sfilata di gruppi folkloristici impossibile da vedere per il bagno di folla accalcata.
Pullman ( nonostante partano tutti da una stazione ben precisa)non avvisati della via da prendere, quindi costretti ad un giro di un’ora, intorno alla città,per raggiungere la Valle dei Templi…
Decine di pullman non scaglionati che arrivano contemporaneamente alla Valle,quindi ressa di centinaia di persone per entrare, controllo borse con un unico scanner. Personale della sicurezza(?), ministeriale e privato sgarbato, incompetente e scaricabarile…
La Valle dei Templi sempre stupenda, l’organizzazione pessima.
E poi: auto dell’organizzazione ‘mandorlo in fiore’, che suona incessantemente il clacson sulla via dei Templi, auto dei vigili del fuoco con signorina lato passeggero con ‘nocca’in testa( mah!?!?!?)
La Magna Grecia sempre più distante….

Siamo arrivati in moto, sabato 11 e a parte aver visto il food village(carino) e il centro storico, abbiamo fatto un giro esterno del parco archeologico, ormai chiuso, ma normale per l'ora.
Il giorno dopo, avendo visto che era prevista ultimo spettacolo dalle 15 alle 17 al tempio, abbiamo fatto un giro a San leone e poi alle 12 ci siamo diretti al parco archeologico, l'idea era entrare ed aspettare l'evento.
La sorpresa sta ora che per arrivare al parco tutte le strade erano chiuse ai veicoli, comprese le moto( eravamo in moto) e si doveva lasciare iare il proprio mezzo in posti anche pericolosi per l'incolumità (moto las iata su una superstrada e a piedi raggiunto il parco)
Arrivati finalmente li alle 12.30/13, persone ammassate e personale della biglietteria che spiegava che non c'erano più posti,per divieto del questore di fare entrare solo 5000 persone, quindi niente evento.
L'informazione andava ovviamente specificata bene nel programma
