Local, professional, safe, super friendly, caring and eco-friendly! IKO and FIV certified kitesurfing school. Staff caters for English, French and Spanish speaking students.

Dopo aver frequentato anni passati altri corsi senza riuscire a infilare più giorni consecutivi di vento, lo Stagnone si è rivelato il posto ideale per progredire e consolidare, grazie alla presenza della laguna, al vento ma soprattutto alla professionalità della scuola kite Lo Stagnone e in particolare di Roberto, che passo dopo passo, sempre col sorriso sulle labbra e la battuta pronta, mi ha fatto acquisire sicurezza e soprattutto tanta voglia di progredire in questo bellissimo sport.

Carmelo was very communicative (in English) and very accommodating. My wife and I have been kiting for over 10 years in the FL Keys, etc., and we had a great session at Lo Stagnone. Carmelo has great gear, including wetsuits and helmets (required for renters). He and his helper set up our kites and brought them to us at the shoreline. When the wind diminished, he gave us larger kites so we could rock on. The lagoon is large and shallow, and we didn't get cold even after 2-1/2 hours on (and in) the water. The access road is muddy with potholes and large puddles, but manageable without 4WD. Carmelo's place is to the right.

In una giornata senza sole ma con un bel po' di vento che fare? KiteSurf! Non era in programma ma si è rivelata un' esperienza unica, luogo magico.
Grande professionalità alla sicily kite school, in particolare il mio istruttore Nik.
Consigliatissima.

Hervorragend zum Kitesurfen, auch für Anfänger. Tolle Kiteschulen, insbesondere die KTS, die Lehrer und die Besitzer dieser Kiteschule sind unheimlich freundlich und sympatisch.

Came in sicily for a week to learn kitesurfing and chose this school recommended online!
Everything was perfect, great wind and perfect spot but above all, great teachers (i had 4 of them) !!
I was able to kite on my own after 5 days thanks to Michele, Carmelo, Guiseppe and Peppino. Thanks a lot guys and keep up the good work 👌

Ottimo per imparare perché il vento è costante senza raffiche e l'acqua è bassa, di contro c'è che il fondale è basso, l'acqua arriva alle ginocchia o alla vita ed il fondo è melmoso, i piedi sprofondando ; inoltre ci sono le alghe urticanti. Sono indispensabili le scarpette, maglia a maniche lunghe e leggins. Occhio al viso, evitare il contatto con l'acqua.

Arcipelago stupendo, nel litorale che comprende lo Stagnone, sono sorte diverse scuole di windsurf, Kitesurf, Canoa e Vela e l’intera area è diventata luogo d'incontro degli amanti degli sport acquatici.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I plan to go for a holiday from approx 17th till 25th of august. During this holiday I planned to SURF almost every day for about 2-3 hours. I am not a beginner but for safety I would ask for an instructor. I will come with my parents, they obviously don't surf. They will be sunbathing on the beach somewhere nearby I will be surfing. Therefore I need a brief description of the place where surfing area is located, please.
Could you, please answer these questions:
-What is the forecast for the waves and wind for those dates(+/- 17-25)? How many metres high waves? If they will be suitable for surfing long board/funny board?;
-How much does the equipment cost for 2 hours + instructor =? Equipment for the whole day + 2 hours instructor =? Equipment for the whole day?
-Do you provide any kind of an insurance?
-How far surfing area is located from the city center (by car; by bus)?;
-Are there any sharks, jellyfishes or other dangerous animals in the water next to the surfing area?
-Do you do groups/individual lessons?
