Con il mio ragazzo abbiamo visitato questa splendida tenuta qualche giorno fa, non essendo un periodo ricco di visite eravamo solo noi due e il signor Giuliano che ci ha mostrato con accuratezza tutte le fasi di lavorazione del vino. La degustazione è stata ottima, non credo di aver mai mangiato dei salumi così buoni come quelli proposti (per questo la visita con degustazione va prenotata 24 ore prima!). Dal racconto e dagli occhi di Giuliano traspare tutta la sua passione e dedizione per queste vigne, i vini assaggiati sono eccellenti, ricchi di storia e spiegati con semplicità nei minimi dettagli. Torneremo sicuramente! (“Licet sitis sine siti” è un mantra che ci porteremo dietro per sempre)

Knowledgeable, friendly, guide for our tour and tasting. Tasting was in a lovely sunlit room at a table. We visited near lunch time and opted for cheese, salami, and bread to accompany the wines. All the wines were good. We sent home a case of Nobile, Riserva, Rose. It took a while but all arrived in good condition. Highly recommend. Laura at Agriturismo La Bruciata recommended Tenata Valdipiatta.

We reserved a tour and tasting and had a lovely tour and tasted some excellent wine! We shipped the Rose’,Chianti and Nobile to the US. All is received and we are enjoying it this Thanksgiving! Our hosts were very personable and we ended up calling to come back to pick up wine for our stay. They responded immediately and I voted is back while picking up our wind we were offered another taste of wine. They went out of their way for us!! The owner took care of us and also recommended other places we could visit while on our vacation. We will be ordering more wine and can’t wait to visit again next time we are in Tuscany.

I definitely recommend Tenuta Valdipiatta without reservation. Miriam, the owner, hosted our wine tasting & tour and was very knowledgeable and personable! I ended up ordering 2 cases of wine to be shipped back to the US, as the wine was also exceptional. I highly recommend the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva and Vigna d'Alfiero as well as the Vin Santo!!! My wife and I will definitely be back and have already recommended Valdipiatta to friends planning trips to Italy. Our wine arrived safely last week and I can't wait to share it with friends and family here in the US!!

The winery was recommended to us by our driver Fabrizio Mencattelli and it did not disappoint. Due to time constraints we scheduled just a wine tasting. The table was set up beautifully and they were so welcoming. We were fortunate enough to have both Miriam and Giuliano speak about their winery and wines during our tasting which was a real treat. Both were great hosts and you can hear the passion and love they have for their winery and wines. The wines were amazing and we purchased a case to have shipped back to the US. The wines arrived in as scheduled and in perfect condition. We plan to purchase wines from them on a regular basis. This winery should be on your list of tours.

We had a wonderful experience visiting this winery. We booked the Classic tour and wine tasting online. Guiliano was a fantastic host. We enjoyed learning about the winery and their processes. The wines are so delicious we ended up ordering a case. I highly recommend a stop here when you are in the Montepulciano area.

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Miriam. We learned so much about the property and the history there. After the tour we sat in a lovely room overlooking the beautiful vineyard. We tasted so many wines!! All delicious and we learned so much about each one. We loved then so much we shipped some back to NY :)
Miriam was awesome and it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. We loved our time there and will definitely be back!

We had the privilege of touring Tenuto Valdipiatta in early September 2022. The winery was recommended by our very lovely hotel in Montepulciano, Locanda San Francesco. Giuliano was our gracious host at the winery and he explained, talked, conversed, and educated us on the intricacies of growing wine in Italy and, more specifically, wine from Montepulciano. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano! We loved every second!! The hospitality was so special. As we drove back to the hotel, I remembered I left my notes on all the wine and I was so upset, as we were leaving the following day. I went to the bar in our hotel later in the evening. They handed me an envelope and I assumed it was our bill. Alas, Giuliano had driven to Monepulicano and brought my silly notes. I was so touched! We ordered a case of wine and it arrived right on schedule and worth every penny!

We werden rondgeleid door de eigenaar en schoonzoon van de founder. Hij vertelde erg gepassioneerd en enthousiast over de verschillende wijnen en het proces. We vonden dit erg leuk en raadden het zeker aan! Ook staat het wijnhuis in een prachtige omgeving!

An intimate and engaging tour, and an amazing opportunity to learn about the rigor that goes into making Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. The wine was excellent (we ordered a bunch) and the staff was welcoming, thoughtful with questions, and made it fun.
