Teseotur were excellent. It was a delight to spend the day learning about Orvieto. The duomo is truly amazing, what a surprise. We had a full day, it included the duomo, the well cave under the town and a trip to a small vineyard. Our guide Jessica was a delight - a local girl with passionate knowledge. History and viticulture!
I thought perhaps we could have included a bit more in the day, but overall it was really great. Next time I will want to see Civita Bagnoregio.

This was an amazing un forgettable end to our trip. Hosts made us feel like we were old friends. Wines were top notch , food was superb and the location was outstanding. I am running out of superlatives to describe it. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Alessandro and Larissa & Michiel for such a fabulous end to our trip.

The Perfect Day ! Orvieto In & Out Tour included Walking Tour of Orvieto, Tour of Pozzo Della Cava, lunch at Le Grotte del Funaro Il Ristorante di Orvieto and a Wine Tour and Tasting at Cantine Neri.
Scheduling our tour was easier than expected. Alessandro was very responsive and professional which definitely instilled confidence. Jessica our tour guide was also in contact with us prior to our arrival in Orvieto. It was so nice she met us at the train station then took us up the short funicular ride then a short bus ride to Orvieto and then provided a walking tour of lovely Orvieto ! Jessica was so knowledgeable ... it was so nice to have a perspective of a local. Next, she took us for a guided tour of to Pozzo Della Cava which was very interesting. Now it was time for a private lunch, just my husband & I. It was delicious and the restaurant was beautiful providing amazing views. After lunch, Jessica and Alessandro drove us to Cantina Neri for wine tour and tasting which was very enjoyable. The wines, meats and cheeses were delicious and the views were amazing ! Jessica again provided interesting knowledge of winery and wines as she is a sommelier. Finally Jessica and Alessandro took us back to Orvieto where our tour ended. If you are looking for an easy day trip from Rome, I definitely recommend visiting lovely Orvieto and I would highly recommend using Teseotur when visiting Orvieto. The Orvieto In & Out tour was perfectly timed. At no time did we feel rushed or that it went too slow.
On a side note, since we had a little time before the 5:30 pm train we went inside the Duomo to see the Corpus Christi Miracle and the beautiful frescos in the side chapel.

Jessica and Alessandro were wonderful guides. They were so responsive in advance of the trip- helping us plan the things to do in the time we had available.
Picked us up at the Orvieto train, took us to Civita, then wine tasing and then for a walking tour of Orvieto. They could not have done a better job - it was our favorite day of our Italy trip! You are in good hands with Teseotur!

We've been to Orvieto before, but this was the first time with a guide, which was wonderful! The personal, and professional attention opened a completey new world of historical insight, coupled with local perspective - highly recommended, even on a rainy day!

Jessica was an outstanding guide for our tour of Orvieto and taught us so much about this fascinating city. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and we felt like we were friends by the time we said goodbye. In addition to showing us the sights, she arranged for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, which we enjoyed very much. Jessica is a true professional and we recommend her highly.

We stayed in Orvieto for three nights, hiring Teseotur to take us on day trips & arrange meals, and what a wonderful experience it was! Elisabeta, Emanuela & Alessandro taught us SO much about Etruscan & Roman history! We walked Etruscan roads, hiked to fortified ancient cities, visited gorgeous lake Bolsena, and so much more. Sometimes travelers don't even know what they don't know; trust Teseotur to plan a magical vacation for YOU!

David was an extraordinary tour guide. We learned so much about Orvieto, it’s people and it’s history that Orvieto feels like an old friend to us. David shared a wealth of important information in a fun and entertaining way, and we enjoyed having David include us in a chance encounter with the local historian sitting on a bench in the piazza during our walking tour.

David took us through the history of this beautiful and important city with a local’s affection and pride.His knowledge and love of the place are contagious and he answered dozens of questions about Orvieto and other things Italian. We loved lunching with him and talking food and wine and so much more. Highly recommended..

What a wonderful full day tour! Filled with warmth, education and a great guide who knew everyone in town, making us feel like part of family. The storied history of Orvieto came alive as we sipped cappuccinos and ate the world's best gelato, all while listening to David, who has a vast knowledge of Italian history and has lived in Orvieto his entire life. David's humour and quick answers to all of our questions was the best history lesson of our trip - and then there was the wonderful lunch we all had together! Highly recommended!

the Orvieto walk guided tour cost € 12,00 per person and to join the tour you can buy ticket online or buy the ticket the same day of the tour in Orvieto, Piazza Duomo. The walking tour is scheduled every monday, tuesday, friday and saturday at 2.00 pm
