We had so much fun here and came away with two beautiful glasses we made. The staff were fantastic and so knowledgeable. Great way to spend a rainy day in Fiji.

Visited on a Friday morning and was disappointed to find that there was no glassblowing going on until the Tuesday following. The property was lovely but even their stock selection was very limited . Waste of a taxi ride.

We are very sorry that you were disappointed. We have always been closed at weekend and are clear in our information that we do not light the furnace every week day - we have cold work days for grinding, polishing, finishing and all the other hard work that goes into running a unique small artistic business in Fiji.
Our Gallery is full of our unique work so it was unfortunate that there was nothing on show that day that you liked.

We bought so many gifts here! Creative designs, vibrant colors, and beautiful handmade items. They also offer people to try their hand at blowing glass. Laisa, the studio manager and a glassblower herself, humored us as we were looking for special colors for gifts. She let us sift through loads of choices to find exactly what we wanted! The owner, Alice, and her husband Alex, went way, way out of their way to help us when we accidentally left our passports sitting at the studio. Their kindness and compassion makes us love our Loloma Glass/Hot Glass items even more!

What an experience! Highly recommend a class! The colors are spectacular in each piece and every piece unique with it's own detail. Pita & Samu are skilled, patient and interactive with those of us trying to blow glass! We were having such a good time, Alice the owner of the studio came out to join in our laughter. Don't pass this up!

We were really excited for this and weren't disappointed. The staff were amazing and guided us through the process starting with going through it step by step before we got to try it ourselves and we came away with a unique piece of glassware of our own. Very worthwhile.

This was a wonderful break from all the sun and surf. We wandered off the beach in Korotogo to visit Alice and her team at Hot Glass Fiji. There was a gang of us and we were expertly guided by the lovely Peter and Sam in the making of our own glasses, vases and plates and got the chance to see the master (Alice) at work in the making of one of her famous "wave plates" in a lovely mix of ocean colours. We had a great laugh and learned a lot about the art and techniques of glass making. We are leaving with a box full of our own efforts and the professional product for our home back in the US. Definitely worth a visit!

An amazing and fun experience with Alice and her team at Hot Glass Fiji. We were particularly impressed with the level of instruction, and the care taken with each stage of the process- which resulted in us taking home a lovely piece of art that we made!

Totally amazing place. Best experience, PETER and SAMU were great teachers, and lovely people.

Amazing few hours being coached by Peter and his team - a giant of a man guiding me through the fine details and touches required to produce a piece of glass art of my choice - I learnt a huge amount and not just about glass blowing but how time passes and the mind clears when focused on creating and learning a new skill - go visit, learn and grow and experience the vibe.

Apart from being a very interesting craft, is the participation suitable for 8 and 12 year olds?

Hi, we offer glass blowing experiences from 8yrs up. With the children we give them the option to either do a sand casting experience (where they prepare a mold and we cast the molten glass in) or to make a hot piece of glass. If you visit our website there is a description of experiences on offer.
We are open Tuesday through to Friday 10am to 3pm. Ideally we like to book our experiences in prior to arrival. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us through our website.

Hi the cost of a glass blowing experience is $195FJD it takes half an hour per person. We are open Tuesday through to Friday from 10am to 3pm, we like to book the lessons in if possible. We have a minimum age for the glass blowing of 7 but we also have a Sand casting experience which is for all ages.
