Amazing view, worth the ride. The staff is very nice too, breathtaking!. We ate delicious fruits once we got back down, the locals in D.R. are all nice and
you will learn a lot if you take a moment to get to know them, we were introduced to the cacao fruit, and it was delicious.
Vista increíble, vale la pena el viaje. El personal también es muy agradable, ¡impresionante!. Comimos frutas deliciosas una vez que regresamos, los lugareños en R.D. son todos agradables y aprenderás mucho si te tomas un momento para conocerlos, por primera vez conocimos la fruta del cacao. Allí mismo tenían árboles de cacao y estaba deliciosa, es refrescante.

I have lived here for 3 years and this is a place I have visited 4 times and absolutely love the view and experience of.
Unfortunately, this last hike for a friends birthday is another example in the world of people trying to rip others off and of the bad behavior and racism that persists in this country.
It's important to keep in mind that we wanted to hike and we were not taking the transportation. Which they told my friends were the same price going up and coming down. (200RD Pesos)
Normal price is 200RD Pesos just to walk up, my friends who arrived first were quoted this, when I showed up with my Dad they told me $10US Dollars a person, even when I spoke spanish and told him that I lived here.
There are no signs that show different prices and it was based purely on the fact that we were white and they thought they could scam me.
(By the way, they have done this to me before, I've come with a friend from eastern Europe who is white and they charged us 200RD Pesos each to hike the first time and then another time they forced me to pay $10US Dollars each with the same person. I've also come by myself and with my Venezuelan friends and both times they only charged us 200RD Pesos)
Whoever was in charge (La Babosa) was pissed when I came back with the right identification and reluctantly let us hike up.
Not to long after we left he (La Babosa) took a personal vehicle up and stayed at the top.
When returning my friends asked if we could take one of the empty trucks down, the first girl said yes no problem. Then a woman came over and told us no, it would be an additional $10US Dollars a person, which, if anything should be $5US Dollars because we were at the top already, but we thought would only be 200RD Pesos since that's what they said in the beginning. Regardless they said no, it's $10US Dollars each.
Lastly, when we started walking down, the owner or person in charge (La Babosa), walked after us and followed us down the walkway and when another group of people waved my friends in the truck wanting to help us, the owner or person in charge started screaming, yelling, and cursing at them.
Why is a grown man screaming in the faces of two women and my dad who is almost 70?
We left and my only regret is that I didnt get a picture of his face (La Babosa)
I don't believe I nor my friends will ever come back here again.

Amazing spot, views are incredible. Go early to beat the crowd :) there is a little restaurant at the top, restrooms and a zip line if you want to partake. definitely worth the visit ❤️

Hermoso lugar, recomiendo ir en ropa deportiva/cómoda, tennis principalmente, llevan bloqueador solar y gorra.

La montaña redonda esta en el área de Miches, central dentro de la isla. Es una montaña que está ubicada en una gran planicie, desde la cual se ve todo el paisaje así como la costa, con vistas espectaculares. Muy recomendable de ver.
TIPS:
-Normalmente este punto viene convinado con otros dentro de un mismo tour (como los haitises u otro).
-La subida a la montaña es en unos camiones. El camino es pesimo y se da muchos saltos y movimiento en el camión. No recomendables para personas con problemas a las que les pueda afectar grandes saltos en el camión.
-En la cima de la montaña hay baños y unos columpios en los que te puedes subir gratis.
TIPS:

Terrible experience. We got to the top during the rain and when we started to go up the car started slipping and we almost fell off the cliff. Very dangerous, I highly don’t recommend

Hi, we would like to see Montana Redonda but would rather not to go on a tour with other people. Can you get there by using public transport? We will be staying in Uvero Alto so thought that there might be some guaguas next to the main road ?

I don‘t know if they have costumes but I don‘t think so. You travel up on the back of a Truck and sometimes the road is quite small so you see down the hill.

El lugar es tipo parque no ofrece hospedaje. Puedes reservar un pasa dia familiar y te cocinan arriba pero nada mas.

quisiera saber cual es el precio y tiempo de los buggies en la montana redonda, precio de los hoteles de la zona solo para dormir algo economico y que otros atractivos hay por la zona

Hola, el precio de entrada son RD$ 100.00,algunos 2.5 dólares. Si tienes vehículo 4x4 puedes subir en el de lo contrario te suben en unos vehículos que tienen para ese fin, el costo es de 800 pesos por viaje sean 2, 3 o más personas. A mi me tocó subir solo mi esposa y yo y tuvimos que pagar los 800 pesos. Nos hospedamos en un hotel de la zona, son relativamente baratos comparados con los de punta cana pero no son de mucha calidad. Fuimos a la playa el limón, el camino para llegar es un poco incómodo pero vale la pena el paisaje.
