Meravigliosamente mantenuto dal Comune ha molti arredi, bei giardini. Si ha l' impressione che le persone siano appena uscite. Chapeau al comune quindi. Nota stonata: gli infissi sono vecchi e in caso di pioggia ci sono infiltrazioni. Segnalato al personale di controllo che seraficamente ha risposto "eh lo sappiamo". Ci saremmo attesi uno straccio x asciugare e mantenere questa meraviglia

In vista con un tur, nonostante una forte pioggia e vento, visitiamo in castello, stupefacente, begli arredi d’epoca, ci si immerge, a mio avviso, nell’atmosfera piena di storia.

The costume museum was excellent with full explanations in Italian and English.
Much more interesting than expected with seating available.
Non flash photography allowed.
The castle itself needs attention, some damp issues need addressing but the rooms were varied and explanation boards in English.
The gardens were much more than just a few trees and flower beds. The labyrinth is a maze made from walls rather than hedging and proved to be quite a challenge.
One downside is that the castle closes between 1 and 2 so you are clock watching all the time.
From the car park there is a 700m uneven but lovely walk to visit some ( overgrown) catacombs but well worth it the wildlife was plentiful.

It is worth visiting: not only for some iconic appearances in the "Montalbano" series but for the beauty of its interiors, all furnished and well preserved.

After leaving my city very close to the castle, I did not imagine that a few steps from where I lived for years there was such a beautiful "time machine".
Enchanted place as far as the exterior is concerned, especially with the labyrinth that gives you a way to experience a little lightness and then with the majestic presence of ancient plants.
The interior is a real time travel made up of a mix so vast that reviewing it is just a grotesque way to describe it: I rather recommend visiting it and letting go of a light day

I had great expectations from this visit. Completely disappointed.
Let's start with the parking lot: garbage. Main street: garbage.
Outdoor stable next to the restaurant on the road leading to the castle entrance. Cows in the mud and dung, an unbearable smell. Dung on the road, too.
Main staircase inside the castle: dirty and scruffy. Neglected rooms.
The only beautiful thing is the exhibition on the costume. Well laid out. The rest to forget

Nice and beautiful. There is plenty to see, both externally and internally, not to mention the park. Well maintained. Very interesting also the collection of period clothes.

Beautiful noble seat with several rooms, all richly adored. It is present in the same venue and with the ticket, the visit of the gardens and a collection of period clothes. If you are in the area, I recommend visiting it. Friendly staff and attentive to the needs presented.

Wonderful visit to the castle that begins with the history of costume and fashion over the centuries and you can admire beautiful original clothes and accessories of the time. The visit continues in the rooms of the castle still with original furnishings, paintings, floors and upholstery. Large well-kept park with a very funny maze

Very impressive place and an exciting journey through time. With a very well maintained extensive park and magnificent pine trees. The castle is just as magnificent with claustrophobic dignity. The furniture is very original in its weariness. Definitely worth a trip.

Io ho comprato un ottimo nero d'avola in un cantina a Vittoria...cmq girando per le varie cantine nel territorio ci sta la possibilità di fare anche la degustazione.

Si, le stanze visitabili sono tutte fotografabili, tranquilla, anche se a mio avviso è più bella la parte esterna.

Non ricordo vetrofanie conil divieto. Ma non ho visto nessun visitatore con animali. Ovvio che se si tratta di un cane guida la risposta è sì, è previsto per legge, negli altri casi vale la pena di fare una telefonata per accertarsi.

dalle ore 14,30 alle ore 19.00 chiusura cassa, la permanenza all'interno del castello è consentita fino alle ore 19.45.
