入村にあたり、マオリ流の歓迎を受けます。特に、そのグループのリーダーは責任を持つことを要求されます。マオリの方々が、それぞれのブースでダンスやゲーム、歌や文化を教えてくれます。宿泊所は、マオリ流の大部屋でしたが快適でした。ジャグはぬるめの水温でしたが楽しめました。ディナーは、バイキングでいろいろな料理を楽しみながら、音楽の演奏も良かったです。一泊二日でしたが、心底マオリを体験できました。

すごく楽しいです。ハカ体験など積極的に参加しましょう。
帰りのバスでは、順番に歌を歌います。
日本人は私たちだけでしたので、みんなが知ってる曲と言えばSUKIYAKIですね。覚えていきましょう。みんなが歌うまでラウンドアバウトをグルグル何回も回ってくれます。Kia Ora

入村できるかの儀式から始まり歓迎のハカ（絶対笑ってはいけないので注意）。中の村でハカ体験、女性の踊り体験、遊び体験、ハン生確認と盛りだくさん。特にハカは一度踊って見たかったので感動。食事も薄い味付けでちょうどよかった、量もビュッフェでお腹いっぱい。プラス料金でニュージーランドビールも楽しめます。ホテルまでの送迎付きなのでドライバーも安心です。他の方にトイレが汚かったとありましたが綺麗でした、その日の客層にもよるのでしようか、私の時は日本人は私たちだけでほとんど白人でした。少し高いですが必ず体験するべき！

夫が車椅子なので最初から、いくつかの制約があるむね説明を受けましたが、最終的にはほぼ、すべてのアクティビティを楽しめたので満足です。行きはみなさんと一緒でしたが、帰りは乗り降りが大変だからと、個別のバンを用意してくれました。

厳粛なマオリの来訪者を迎える儀式のときに、NZに一番多く来ているアジアの観光客から笑い声が起こり、すごく残念だった。案内をしているマオリの人たちもかなりご立腹の顔をしていた。せめてガイドの人が説明しておくべきだと思う。トイレを使おいとしたら驚くくらいトイレが汚れていて、みんなでホテルまで我慢してしまったくらいだった。観光客はもう少しマナーを考えたい！

You can book the experience through websites of your choice like tripadvisor aka viator, backpackerdeals Klook etc, they would provide you the details of where and what time you should report etc and that's it. I hope your question is answered.

Let them know in advance and they’ll prepare veggie food :) I had an amazing lasagne - then helped myself to all the delicious veggies too. Save room for pavlova after!

Yes, just find the Meet... option in the long drop-down menu. The address is out of town at Tumurai on SH5,NOT the one shown in Tripadvisor header!

Yes, you can drive directly to the village if you want too. But I would recommend at LEAST driving into town and meeting the buses at the office, the Bus ride was so fun and one of the highlights of the night, the drivers are awesome 😊

If I book for the 5pm experience does this mean the evening will be finished about 8:30pm? I will be driving there myself would it be advisable to get there early, if so how earlier?

Kia ora, yes our 5pm show will have you back in the city centre by 8.30pm. We advise our guests to meet at our Booking office at 4.15pm that is where you board our bus & where the experience starts, Nga Mihi nui,
