The visit to the workshop is exciting and the lacquerwork beautiful. I was seduced by a painting but the sequel did not please me at all. The saleswoman assured me to carry this painting in carry-on baggage, which is inaccurate. I had to pay 200 bucks to save it as a suitcase. However, it was not very large but out of format for the airline. And at the airport, difficult to backtrack: we and taken hostage.I really felt like I was plucked: tourist = pigeon. So the painting cost me twice the selling price. So bitter memory, especially since the workshop never answered my email.

We enjoyed our visit to Thu Huong Lacquer Arts in Hanoi. They had some beautiful art pieces. When we got home to the USA we wished we had purchased a bigger piece. No problem, we ordered a piece and it arrived at our home, beautifully and carefully packaged, safe and sound. We are delighted with this art and found a perfect spot for it. We highly recommend this shop and believe that your will love whatever you purchase there. But if you end up like us, and wish you had bought one to take home, you will not be disappointed to order it and have it shipped directly to your house.

This Lacquer store had some beautiful art. We purchased a large piece which we were happy with. The workmanship is good. We were happy with what we purchased.

Magnificent, I even bought a painting!! everything is beautiful the vases are superb but bringing it back by plane... not possible.

A well-commented and pleasant visit. The commercial objectives are clearly present in the second part thanks to the exhibition which concludes the visit. Different styles, sometimes kitsch. but behind what work. I didn't like hairspray when I entered...but I fell in love with a painting. Too big for the suitcase, it was super well packaged, protected and sent on the scheduled date. Very serious.

Our experience was immediately unique as we started of with a very educative and varied introduction to the art of Vietnam. We were instantly intrigued and were prone to buying the paintings as it would make an amazing addition to our house and gives a sense of diverse culture.

This lacquer shop is a must if you are interested in seeing how lacquer art is made. In addition, they have beautiful lacquer art for sale in all price ranges. We purchased 4 large panels which we had shipped back to the US and they arrived within 4 days of being shipped from Vietnam. They were wrapped and packaged well so there was no damage upon arrival. Salesperson even delayed shipping by four weeks to ensure arrival after we returned from our month long trip to Vietnam.

In der Lack Manufaktur hat uns eine Frau sehr freundlich die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte zur Herstellung der Lackbilder erklärt.
Man konnte jeden einzelnen Arbeitsschritt sehen und auch fragen stellen die kompetent beantwortet wurde.
