In this Christmas day I made a solo travel to pullurampara, that is a beautiful village in Kozhikode district. After my two and half hours’ drive, I reached one of my friend houses. He arranged a grate homemade lunch for me. Chicken biriyani, Beef roast and pork ularthiyathu. After that we simply walk around his rubber estate. In front of his house there is a creek we made a small swim in that. After that I moved to Arippara Waterfalls.

Paradise for swimmers and nature lovers.... Road was almost vanished and flood swept it away.... you can find how poweful the rain and land slides in this area's

We five went for rafting there
had a 8km raft starting at malabar pool ending near to infamous jogis hole
Only during monsoons done by keralarafting
1600/- per person
they do kayaking too

I have visited more than 5 times as it is just about 10km from my home.
Its about 35Km from Kozhikode City.You have good roads & transporation.
You will get bus directly from Kozhikode at just Rs 35.
In summer (Feb-May) you cannot see the full strength of the falls.
Better to visit during Aug-Dec.But the rocks are slippery, even in summers.You have to be very carefull.

Very beautiful falls. I have visited this waterfalls twice and loved the scenic beauty of this place. No much people come here. No changing rooms are available. The view of the falls is beautiful. But be careful as it can be slippery. You have to walk a little to reach the falls.

About 1 and a half to 2 hours Calicut city. Very neat and clean. It's not that crowded. Beautiful place to hangout with friends. There are small storages where people can take baths. Nice place to relax. Can get pretty slippery when water level is high. Worth the visit!!!..

Arippara waterfall is must view tourist destination in Calicut district, the locality is well maintained by the tourism department, safe place to visit with children. just one and half hour driving distance from calicut town

The trip to arippara is a bit long .the best thing about this place is that we could bath in these waters (only in the safe area) the view of the waterfall is good.

Words are not enough to describe its beauty.An ideal spot for natural lovers.Also a great choice for thrill seekers.Full mark for natural beaut!!!!!!!!!! Ideal time to visit is january-april.
