Not sure why our Lapis were packed in old soft boxes. Even some bought at the counter. The box were too soft and easily get dented.

Yes! I've bought the same Brand on Monday 01st January 2024 in the evening brought back home put inside the fridge. The next morning open the box..smell weird and taste sour.

Lamoist cake is really delicious....I really like the smell...and my favorite is the plum taste..very fresh...
Lamoist layer cake has many choices, of course the many variants provide interesting choices according to taste...

I always buy kueh lapis from other brands but my colleagues has feedback and asked me to try purchasing the kueh lapis from La Moist. So I decided to give it a try during this trip.
Order was easy and seamless. Just need to WhatsApp the order and the location you would like to collect the cakes from. Rahmi was very professional and response was quick.
Cakes were delivered to Harbour Bay ferry terminal on the day of departure from Batam. Cakes were very presentable wrapped in a box. Rahmi even provided me small La-Moist paper bags to place the cakes. Well-done for a good customer service shown.
Cakes are fresh and moist. I ordered basically Prunes, Rainbow, Original and Chocolate chips. All were very nice and most importantly, very fresh.
Definitely highly recommended. Will order again on my next trip.

there are many oulets of Lamoist in Batam,i bought their kue lapis many years ago at BCS mall,and also Batam center,yesterday i went to harbour bay,before i leaving for singapore,i bought a box of kue lapis at harbour bay outlet.there are many flavours,i chosed butter flavoure.it is the original flavour.the big one cost rp300,000,it is ok price cuz the cake very big,and the taste is nice.

yes . you can always walk in and purchase directly.
any we have same price policy for all outlets. Printed brochures with pricing and has online point of sales system on these.

I was in Batam during the Valentines Day weekend (14-16 Feb 2015).
On 10 Feb 2015 noting that CNY was just a week away I sent a mail to Lamoist Layers Batam on the possibility to order 5 pcs of assorted kueh lapis. I was soon in touch with Vira through Whats App (WA) and the rest of the ordering process was a breeze. Vira provided me with a photo of a receipt via WA which listed my order and the total receipt price.
On the morning I arrived at Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal (HBFT) I proceeded to their outlet within HBFT showed the sales staff the photo of the receipt. The sales staff made a call which I assume was to verify the receipt / order. I proceeded to pay in full instead of a deposit as I did not wish to worry about having sufficient funds on my return to HBFT for my journey back to Singapore. It was all this simple straight forward and I was on my way to my holiday.
I am impressed with the convenience of placing order through WA and the choice to collect the kueh lapis at HBFT which saved me the hassle of lugging the fragile cake from town to the ferry. The kueh lapis was still warm when I collected it at about 1445hrs.
Will definitely be back for more Layers kueh lapis when I am back in Batam for another weekend getaway.
