When my husband and I visit Japan, we like to try lots of different types of food. Yumi was fantastic and took us to some amazing places that and we ate so much delicious food! I would highly recommend Soy Travel Japan to anyone. Being able to visit places with a local made our visit even better as it meant we could go to/see places that as tourists, we might not have found by ourselves Thanks Yumi!

Good day, Debi! How have you been? Thank you for your review on our tour. It was so much fun for me to guide you around in Gifu-city and Nagoya! We ate too much from the beginning, didn't we? ;) Missing you two oceans and I am sure to find more places to introduce you to by Rugby World Cup 2019! Hope to see you again soon, Debi. Before my visit in February 2018 to Gifu, the director of Soy Travel, Ms. Yumi, sent me detailed information and suggestions for sightseeing. Since Ms. Yumi was away during the time of my visit she found the perfect guide for me. My guide, Kazuko, met me at my hotel both days. The first day we saw the Gifu Castle, rode on the Mount Kinka Ropeway, toured the Gifu City Museum of History, where Kazuko translated important details, and strolled through Gifu Park,. I especially liked hearing about the Cormorants and how they are trained to dive for fish. Since that event is closed in winter, Kazuko showed me pictures of the night fishing and I did see the boats used by the Master Fisherman. Kazuko discussed the architecture and history of the town, stopped at a few shops and when I wanted a snack she knew of the best cafe for hot chocolate. The second day we toured the Gifu library, did some shopping at the Railroad station and had a very special lunch. I learned so much from Kazuko's explanations I know it made my visit much more meaningful and memorable.

I had an excellent holiday with Soy Travel Japan from the 1st to the 4th of April. This was a personalised trip with the Head of the company Ms. Yumi. She proved to be outstanding in all respects: courteous, highly efficient, very supportive and with first-class English and other languages. The itinerary Ms. Yumi planned for me was in the area north of Nagoya. I enjoyed both the snowy mountain scenery and the lowlands. We stayed at several very traditional and interesting Japanese inns. This gave me invaluable insights into the Japanese ways of life. The people were extremely friendly, as was our driver for the whole visit. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in going on another Soy Travel Japan holiday. Ms. Yumi is, in my view, a superb professional. Trevor Higginbottom HmI
