Hello Victor, This is Larissa from Ebisuya Rickshaw in Kyoto Arashiyama. The main section of the bamboo grove is open 24/7, just as YTCHENG mentioned, as it is open to the public. (The other two parts are closed over night). However, should you be interested in taking a rickshaw tour with us (seeing how you posted this question on our tour page), please know that the last departure is around 5:30pm as this is when it gets dark. The bamboo forest is only lit up at night for the first half of December, the rest of the year it is pitch black. We would rather recommend visiting the bamboo forest first thing in the morning. This is also when you can hear the birds chirping together with the sound of the wind and might make for a better bamboo grove experience than at night.
