Hello,
I will be going to kyoto this July, and I really want to visit Arashiyama bamboo groove as well as enjoy japanese traditional rickshaw ride.
I just want to ask where can I find the place to go on a rickshaw near arashiyama to enjoy the forest?
Also can you recommend some other destinations around bamboo forest that we could visit?
thank you very much.
Dear Vica,
Thank you very much for your message and interest in our tours.
Our main rickshaw stand in Arashiyama is located right by the Togetsukyo Bridge. We always have staff there, so you can just come and contact them about a rickshaw ride.
We offer a variety of tour options to suit your schedule and all of our tours can be customized, so we can definitely go and show you the bamboo forest and take beautiful pictures there!
The Arashiyama area is rather large and extends well beyond the bamboo forest and the main street. Should you be interested in visiting one or two interesting and unique temples or are rather interested in seeing the typical Arashiyama landscape, we can make a few suggestions!
To discuss this in further detail and answer any further and additional questions you might have, please contact us directly via the 'Contact' button on our homepage.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
